Hi Clive! Thank you so much for your support! I am working on the Deep Dive for the LX, but was majorly delayed because we couldn't hold on to them long enough for me to film. I have finally finished filming and hope to have the video up in the month or so. The ES & RX Deep Dives are coming up next. Thank you for your patience.
Thank you for your fast reply and that’s very good news there’s a new LX tutorial coming. I had to smile the dealership I use for both personal and work vehicles is bemoaning about stock availability. As soon as a new model is presented I put down a deposit, both the NX and LX have been pending for over 12 months. I’ve been assured the new RX500F Sports will be delivered in March 23, I’ll look forward to your deep dive on this new model too. From what I can ascertain this SUV will be a proper sporty model deserving of it’s F Sport name. Lexus dealership’s worldwide should be paying you a commission 😊, you are saving them hours of commissioning and the odd phone calls!
Hi Thank You for the wonderful video. It helped me a lot. I have a 2019 LX. Some info I seek is 1- voice training is missing in my screen, I have no access to voice command on navigation screen. For phone operations I have to record the voice for each contact. 2- Tyre Pressure units are displayed in KPA and i need to change to PSI 3- How to turn on the AC while remote starting 4- How to change settings of remote starting, as now if I approach the car after remote start and unlock the car, the engine shuts of. 5- How to update the map 6- Will the AC will turn of completely even if the cooler box is on ? 7- How to set the easy access mode? Thank You
Hi Shan, I'll do my best to help, but it sounds like your vehicle was not built for the US market and I only have access to US online owner's manuals. Hopefully some of this will be what you need. Resources: Owner's Manual: drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/document/om-s/OM60R07U/pdf/OM60R07U.pdf NAV Manual: drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/document/omnav-s/OM60R22U/pdf/OM60R22U.pdf 1. - voice training: Menu > Setup > Voice > Train Voice Recognition - I have no access to voice command on navigation screen: Voice commands are available from any screen. Just press the Talk button on the steering wheel and give the proper command after the beep. Check the manuals for Voice commands that are compatible for your vehicle. - For phone operations I have to record the voice for each contact. ON a 2019 LX your contacts should transfer to the car from your phone and you use the name just as you have it saved in the phone. 2- Tire Pressure units are displayed in KPA and i need to change to PSI: I'm not aware of a setting that will change the measurement. That is setup at the factory for the country the car is being built for. You could ask your Lexus service department if they know of anything. 3- How to turn on the AC while remote starting: leave the AC on when you turn off the car. Then it will turn on when you remote start. 4- How to change settings of remote starting, as now if I approach the car after remote start and unlock the car, the engine shuts of: It is operating as designed. This is not a setting that can be changed. It is a safety feature for all current Lexus remote start systems. 5- How to update the map: contact your Lexus Service department for pricing and an appointment for a navigation update. 6- Will the AC will turn of completely even if the cooler box is on: The cool box will only work when the AC is on. If you have the AC on and then try to turn off the Cool Box, the AC compressor will not turn off. 7- How to set the easy access mode? Easy Access is either on or off. If you see the icon in green on the dash it is on. If you don't see the icon it is off. Press the button to turn it on. The height is not customizable. All the best. Enjoy your LX!

The small light on the side of that soft button should turn off and that will mean the feature is no longer in Auto mode. (This can only be accessed when the vehicle is in Drive, so doing this in a safe parking spot is recommended.) Hopefully this will get you what you're looking for. Some questions from me. 1. Does it come standard with run flat tyres. 2. Does it come standard with rain sensing wipers. 3. Why is it that some areas/countries(i.e South Africa) do not receive the LX570 sport (Different wheels that those in this video and a blacked out headliner) Thank you in advance
Happy to help! 1. Does it come standard with run flat tires: no run flats on the LX in the US. 2. Does it come standard with rain sensing wipers: In the US Rain Sensing wipers are standard for the LX. 3. Why is it that some areas/countries(i.e South Africa) do not receive the LX570 sport (Different wheels that those in this video and a blacked out headliner). I'm not sure. That may be a better question for a sales associate. They are more familiar with packaging and the builds that come to them. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you on that one.
good afternoon, I have a Lexus lx570 2017, the equipment is exactly the same as yours, tell me how can I start the engine remotely because I don’t want to pay money for the application, can I start the engine with the key at close range? Thank you
Hi. The 2017 LX used a 3G connection system. The telematics companies have taken 3G off line and it is no longer compatible for the app remote start feature. If you want to have an after market remote start kit installed, I would recommend reaching out to your Lexus service department to see if they have an approved compatible Lexus option or reach out to a reputable automotive accessory installer. All the best.
Extremely well explained and very helpful. Thanks for a brilliant video! Just bought the 2021 LX (Signature/Sport trim) and spent the past couple of hours watching this video. I wasn’t sure what it means by Rear Seat Entertainment System with ‘Artificial Intelligence’. Do you know what that AI feature means?
Hi Space Lover! Thanks so much for your comment and support! I'm so glad the video was helpful for you with your new LX! Congrats! Can you give me a little more information about the Rear Seat Entertainment System with ‘Artificial Intelligence’ question? Where are you seeing that description? I don't see that in the factory Owner's Manual. Do you have an OEM Rear Entertainment System or after market? Happy to check on it for you.
I jumped around the sections, but couldn’t seem to figure out my issue. How do you turn the split screen off and only have it as music or navigation on the entire screen? I want to turn the split screen off. Thanks!
Hi Sam, Unfortunately, the screen layout on the LX only allows the Map to open full screen and not the Audio. When Audio is selected it will open on the left side, but the right side will have other content. I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you. Thanks so much for tuning in.
I noticed your vehicle had the Modellista Grille and front spoiler, as well as the garnish for the rear bumper. I attempted to have my Lexus dealer install this, but they swore up and down that this is NOT a Toyota/Lexus part despite me showing them the part numbers. Is this something your dealership does on certain vehicles? I would be very interested in pricing before the kits are no longer available.
Hi! I checked with our Parts Department Manager and he confirmed that these are all OEM and factory installed items on the LXs from our dealership that were used to make the video. What is the year of your LX? He said he is happy to talk with you about available and compatible parts if you would like. I hope this helps.
@@NorthsideLexus Amazing! I wasn’t expecting a reply. Yes I would be very happy to talk to someone in parts, I’m assuming perhaps I can visit your website to make contact. I have a 2017 LX, with the 077 Starfire Pearl paint code. I understand it won’t be a perfect match, but I would love to talk!
Hi Joel, That is such a good question. I would say consider what you need the vehicle for. If you need the off road capabilities as your main priority then you could get the current model. But if you need Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, etc. then wait. The new LX, however will have major technology advancements. It is my understand that it will be next in line for the new Lexus Interface system that was announced for the 2022 NX. That will mean a major upgrade for connectivity. Apple CarPlay/Android Auto (probably wireless), very advanced voice commands, newest safety systems, etc. So if you can wait, it might be worth it.
Hi Buzz. The LX does not currently offer the RSA feature. For vehicles with RSA, it is found in the Settings menu of the Multi-Information Display. Hope this helps. Thanks for tuning in.
Hi! I'm not sure if the setup is the same on your 2 row version, but if the LX has the Parking Sensors button it should be here: 38:42 Parking Sensors Hope this helps.
Thanks for tuning in. Unfortunately that is not a customizable feature. It is set form the factory and there is not a setting in the vehicle to make a change. Thanks for your questions though.
Hi! Sport S adjusts the throttle response to be more direct and increases sporty the feel of the drive. Sport S+ will incorporate steering feel and the adaptive variable suspension. It also changes the threshold for the Traction Control features for a more aggressive drive feel. I hope this helps to explain it better. Thanks for being here!
Hi Dylan, It isn't possible to get the factory system installed after the fact, but there may be some kits that can be installed at your Lexus dealership. I would call the Parts Department at your Lexus dealership and ask what is compatible and confirm they can do the install without voiding the warranty. Best of luck on your search.
Hi! Thanks for watching! That is linked to the Dial that adjusts the brightness for you gauge display lights. When it is clicked on to the brightest setting it will not allow Night Mode for your main display. Just dial a little bit to the left to click off of the brightest setting and then Night Mode will be allowed. Check the video at 36:02 for an explanation. Hope this helps!
Hi @Bedro. If you have the Tire Pressure Monitor screen on your MID, but the readout is not showing the PSI for each tire, then you need to take the vehicle into your Lexus Service department to have it checked. It may need to be re-calibrated. If your model does not have the screen in the MID it can not be added. This monitor screen is not all all models. If you need to see the recommended PSI for your tires, it should be posted on the information inside the frame of the drivers' door when the bar code and VIN are showing. Hope this helps answer your question :)
@@NorthsideLexus thank you for ur quick response. I have lx 570 2020 and I have all the information in the screen as showing in ur vedio. But the readouts of tire pressure is blank. I can see all the tires on the screen but no PSI READOUT.
Hi Dylan, Yes, the 2016 LX Pre Collision System has the ability to bring the LX to a stop under normal driving conditions. Please see page 274 of the online Owner's Manual for more details: drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/document/om-s/OM60N01U/pdf/OM60N01U.pdf Example of deceleration cruising and follow-up cruising When a preceding vehicle driving slower than the set speed appears When a vehicle is detected running ahead of you, the system automatically decelerates your vehicle. When a greater reduction in vehicle speed is necessary, the system applies the brakes (the stop lights will come on at this time). The system will respond to changes in the speed of the vehicle ahead in order to maintain the vehicle-to-vehicle distance set by the driver. Approach warning warns you when the system cannot decelerate sufficiently to prevent your vehicle from closing in on the vehicle ahead. When the vehicle ahead of you stops, your vehicle will also stop (vehicle is stopped by system control). After the vehicle ahead starts off, pushing the cruise control lever up or depressing the accelerator pedal will resume follow-up cruising. Example of acceleration When there are no longer any preceding vehicles driving slower than the set speed The system accelerates until the set speed is reached. The system then returns to constant speed cruising. Make sure to note in emergency braking, the system is designed to mitigate an accident if a collision is eminent. It is not possible to prevent all potential collisions. Thanks very much for tuning in.
Hi Dylan, Yes, there is an automatic Parking Brake on the 2016 LX. Check out page 217 in the online Owner's Manual for more info: drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/document/om-s/OM60N01U/pdf/OM60N01U.pdf Thanks for tuning in!
Hi Graham, thanks for tuning in. The system is compatible for DVDs, but not Bluray. Hi Tunjay. There are different packages and the price will depend on the equipment you select. The Lexus websites shows the starting MSRP at $86,580.00 US, but most dealerships will have a few versions they receive and have available. www.lexus.com/models/LX You'll need to check with your dealership for accurate pricing. Thank you so much, Paul! So glad you liked the video!
@@sweetblue44 You bet. If you can please email me at moconnell@northsidelexus.com, I'll get you connected with him.
COULD YOU ADVISE ME REGARDING WETHER I SHOULD WAIT FOR THE NEW LX OR BUY THE CURRENT ONE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOUR THOUGHTS
@@NorthsideLexus thanks a lot for taking the effort to reply to my question appreciate it a lot .keep up the good work
@@joeljaison3358 My pleasure!
Thank's a lot
You are most welcome!
How to I enable RSA on Lexus 570 2021 Black Vision. There is no settings to change RSA.
Hi Buzz. The LX does not currently offer the RSA feature. For vehicles with RSA, it is found in the Settings menu of the Multi-Information Display. Hope this helps. Thanks for tuning in.
The best video
Thank you so much @Alshafaqah!
Anyone knows how to remove the center hub cap?
I am trying to have a digital clock on my info screen like you have i cant seem to get it . I have lx 2017 please help. Thank you.
Hi Hassan, The digital clock is unfortunately not something that can be added. I'm sorry about that. Thanks so much for tuning in though.
Thank you!!! 👍 👍👍
Thank you too! Thanks so much for watching!
Very informative ❤️

I just bought a 2020 LX570 2 row with the luxury package, I can’t figure out to turn on the parking sensors. Can someone help?
Hi! I'm not sure if the setup is the same on your 2 row version, but if the LX has the Parking Sensors button it should be here: 38:42 Parking Sensors Hope this helps.
@@NorthsideLexusI found the button. It was hidden behind the stalk. I need to get my eyes checked. lol. Thanks! Love ur videos.

I have lx570 model 2020, can i change from kPa to psi tyre pressure because my monitor screen give me only kPa tyre pressure?
Thanks for tuning in. Unfortunately that is not a customizable feature. It is set form the factory and there is not a setting in the vehicle to make a change. Thanks for your questions though.
Great Job 👍
Thanks so much, Walter! 👍 So glad you're here!
What’s the difference between S and S+? Thank you
Hello, is it possible to get the rear entertainment system after purchase of the LX
My 2016 lx 570 display always on day mode how to put it in auto ?
Hi there.... The number of the tire pressure is not available... How can I get it?
By the way thank u for ur well-explained tatorial. I really got tips that I don't know before. Thanks again
Does the 2016 LX have automatic braking with the pre collision system
Hi Dylan, Yes, the 2016 LX Pre Collision System has the ability to bring the LX to a stop under normal driving conditions. Please see page 274 of the online Owner's Manual for more details: drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/document/om-s/OM60N01U/pdf/OM60N01U.pdf
Example of deceleration cruising and follow-up cruising
When a preceding vehicle driving slower than the set speed appears
When a vehicle is detected running ahead of you, the system automatically decelerates your vehicle. When a greater reduction in vehicle speed is necessary, the system
applies the brakes (the stop lights will come on at this time). The system will respond to
changes in the speed of the vehicle ahead in order to maintain the vehicle-to-vehicle
distance set by the driver. Approach warning warns you when the system cannot
decelerate sufficiently to prevent your vehicle from closing in on the vehicle ahead.
When the vehicle ahead of you stops, your vehicle will also stop (vehicle is stopped by
system control). After the vehicle ahead starts off, pushing the cruise control lever up
or depressing the accelerator pedal will resume follow-up cruising.
Example of acceleration
When there are no longer any preceding vehicles driving slower than the set
speed
The system accelerates until the set speed is reached. The system then returns to constant speed cruising.
Make sure to note in emergency braking, the system is designed to mitigate an accident if a collision is eminent. It is not possible to prevent all potential collisions.
Thanks very much for tuning in.
@@NorthsideLexus thank you so much very helpful
Does the auto parking brake work in the 2016 LX?
Hi Dylan, Yes, there is an automatic Parking Brake on the 2016 LX. Check out page 217 in the online Owner's Manual for more info: drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/document/om-s/OM60N01U/pdf/OM60N01U.pdf Thanks for tuning in!
is it only DVD or can you use Bluray
Hi Graham, thanks for tuning in. The system is compatible for DVDs, but not Bluray. If you would like more information about compatibility, you can check out page 174 of the NAV Multimedia online Owner's Manual: drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/document/omnav-s/OM60T40U/pdf/OM60T40U.pdf
I hope this helps. Thanks again.
only two USB PORTS HMM ? IS THIS CORRECT ?
Hi Michael on the 2020 and 2021 LX there are two USB Ports and a Wireless charger pad in the charging station at the front of the vehicle. There is also a 12-volt accessory charger. Hope this helps. Thanks for tuning in!
@@NorthsideLexus thank you just disappointed there is none in the second or third row
@@michaelpalmer8143 yeah, they were definitely slow to make those changes. There are two USB-C ports in the 2nd row of the 2022 LX. But unfortunately you have to use the other style charging ports on the earlier year models.
One solution is to read, play games or engage in conversation rather than be a tech zombie.
How much it costs?
Hi Tunjay. There are different packages and the price will depend on the equipment you select. The Lexus websites shows the starting MSRP at $86,580.00 US, but most dealerships will have a few versions they receive and have available. www.lexus.com/models/LX You'll need to check with your dealership for accurate pricing.
