- Опубліковано 8 тра 2024
- In this episode, we hit up Wharariki Beach, a famous location of beauty that many visit when on the Abel Tasman. We then headed towards Collingwood and checked out the area and cafes. We then ventured towards Te Waikoropupu Springs a sacred spot and then made our way towards Nelson.

Another cool video.
I've said it before, you guys are honorary Kiwis now, you've seen more of our Nation than most Kiwis.
Sorry it's coming to an end.
All the best Team xxx.
What a wonderful spot, I'd never heard of it until your video
3:37 Looks as if it is a "Muscovy Duck" (Cairina moschata).
Those birds you saw in the water are black swan they are able to feed on sea grass because of there long necks you will see them in estuaries or in large lakes they are common throuout new zealand and can migrate long distances when they want .
Love you from pakistan❤
Thanks my friend 🙌
Title, Secret Glen 😊
Oh wow, what great videos, Mado and Glen. You both have had an amazing adventure in NZ and I bet you both are sad to leave! But go on to another amazing adventure!! We always too forward to your wonderful videos and enjoy your future endeavours 🤗

Muscovy ducks , rather shy but quite friendly 😉oh and its a crystal apple cucumber 👍..im in love with tiny homes 😍
Haha thanks for the information! We we’re definitely not sure 😂
@@GlenAndMado thanks for my evening entertainment ❤️❤️
Regards from South Africa 🇿🇦: Hello NZ. Hello Glen and MADO.
1st comment. Yeehaa. come back to New Zealand guys!
Yup up John!
One of the beaches on the Abel Tasman National Park Track has a narrow cave with glow worms in it; the glow worms are about a metre from your head. Amazing.
Damn that’s amazing!
I know a couple of people in Takaka & from what I remember they were very hippie sixty's gentle folk. Great beach @ Wharaiki & love the bird life
Wharariki Beach is where that ubiquitous Microsoft screens-saver photo was shot. The one with the woman jogging on the shore and the big rock structures in the sea.
Yup we seen it, absolutely magic!
Beautiful Beautiful Aotearoa 😊
Goose (singular); Geese (plural)
Great video. Only thing I can suggest is to be very careful when exploring tidal caves and to watch for the rising water. Otherwise I hope you enjoyed the Nelson Tasman region it's an area where I lived for almost 30 years
Our totally right, was being as careful as I could possibly be actually. I was scared to go in haha😂 anyways hope you had some magic memories while living in the Tasman! It’s paradise!
Wondering when you guys are in the pacific islands ? Hanging out for those vids now 😁
You won’t be getting them for a while! We made a bulk loaf of videos before we left New Zealand to keep our uploads going for a while 😂
17:14 - still having trouble with that one =) ... Ta has the emphasis... first ka is short.. second ka is slightly longer
Your cucumber is called an "apple Cucumber"
Some fascinating fruits and vegetables in New Zealand 😂
Great watch.
Thanks for tuning in! The support means alot as I feel people aren’t watching as much as before 🫣
it's really beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
So hidden that it is a widows Screensaver lol
You got that right!
😂😂🙌
@GlenAndMado pupu springs has the second clearest water in the world. The clearest is at Rotomairewhenua / Blue Lake in the Nelson lakes National Park with up to 80m of visibility. It is quite the journey to get there though. I live in Motueka and spent my teenage years tramping and sailing the three national parks on my doorstep.
Yes please when freedom camping take your rubbish!
People were camping at our local sports ground. Great spot. One lot of campers left their bags of rubbish there and now there’s a no camping sign up. Please don’t spoil it for others.
There should be 2 arch like stone structures out on the sea n seal pups
Couldn’t see any and came to early unfortunately haha
Glen's friend is a muscovy duck
Awh thanks for letting us know Debra!
hope you get safely out of Vanuatu, with the airline cancelling flights, etc (also, looking forward to that video if you make one ... or two) 🌞🏝

Tar car car Takaka
Wrong😢😢
@@dazfromnz01 so what is it then?
@@maxineamon Tar-ka-ka . I live there 😎
You are wrong
@@KrissyRoseAnimallover what is it then ?
Takaka is pronounced Taar-ka-kah
Haha thanks for letting us know 🫣
It sounds how it’s spelled Ta-ka-ka 😊😊
They are swans you get black and white ones.
Yeah fascinating to see them in the ocean! Usually see them in lakes haha
Swan not swans
@@GlenAndMadoGlen they love the seaweed
It is shooting season in NZ early May and they know not to be in lakes and tend to stay inshore. Not that they are safe anywhere, with so many so called NZ hunters who have no scruples about rules
I usually like your videos, but I actually found this one hugely disappointing. I can't believe you drove all the way to Wharariki, and then didn't take the time to walk up to the far end of the beach, where all the great caves and the stone bridge are. You'll have to return some day to do it properly.
