A lot of Roblox scams that I cover are obvious to spot. You usually get a gut feeling when you are about to send over some information that will compromise your account. However, with this scam, things are different. With the large number of scam videos pointing on UA-cam pointing to the same website plus the "official" presentation of the video, many people believe these videos.
What makes things even worse is that since UA-cam removed dislikes, it's almost impossible to tell at a glance whether or not these fake tutorials are helpful or malicious. Pro tip, mark these down in your "Roblox scams" list. And for me, this scam is at the top of my list. It is the best Roblox scam I've seen.

@@BookwormKevin Yeah honestly making the dislike count a toggle option that's on by default would be the best compromise. Everyone would already know what it means when the count gets disabled, and trustworthy accounts would just keep in on regardless. It's pretty obvious that Google only did what they did because they and their advertisers want to be able to hide when their videos aren't popular.

I noticed this recently and one of my students(I used to be an roblox studio instructor) fell for these trying to get better at building roblox games. This really makes me want to start making tutorials so these kids can have someone to trust. I love teaching roblox studio and it just hurts to see these people trying to prey on kids with genuine intentions to learn and be a better game builder.

and I did fall for this but my account stayed intact because i kept my pin enabled I literally fell for this scam and they found my cookies but my pin kept my account afloat (edit) It was over an enable voice chat video

Fun fact! You don't need id verification to get voice chat, you just need a verified phone number on your account and roblox will randomly give it to you.

This scam seems to be the most advanced and least obvious one I've seen in a while.

Fr i fell for it a while back. Luckly that same day I realized what i had done and reset my cookie before they had logged in

The best protection against these scams was the dislike counter, but yt decided that people deserved to be scammed 🙄

Scammers can hide like and dislike counts even if we still had the dislike counter.
if you get scammed you deserve it idc. My dad got scammed for 1.4k, he deserved it. He got it back. It's never that deep.
@@sninctbur3726 Back then a video with hiden dislikes or a lot of dislikes used to be a red flag for something being a scam. This was especially true for yt tech tutorials.

oh my god this is one I'd probably fall for, the illusion of lots of people using it makes it harder to spot, like you just ignore your basic instincts when you see it
Also, the thought of being able to save an RBXL of a game (for saving 3D models or, at worst, trying to copy the game) probably pushes people to ignore the warnings and jump right into...the scam. I was one of those people; Before finding out about Roblox exploit executors, I guess I thought that this would somehow work. (My account is still safe since I changed its password and added 2FA.)
No, that is your basic instinct telling you to trust it when a lot of people are pushing it. Humans are a social animal, so when a lot of people are doing the same thing, it becomes more difficult for one person to go a different way, unless of course they see someone else doing something different, first.
So, could there be a possibility to send troll messages to the scammers through clipboard? Would be funny. Especially if they contained a link to your own Discord server so you can get their reaction!

by copying it as cURL and running it on powershell,
it will resend that request as many times as you run it

@@araphis836 The API is sort of like a road, it’s allowing traffic to be sent to the scammers server, specifically the packet containing the clipboard text. So theoretically, provided their is no built in cool-down you could spam the same packet hundreds of times. Both fortunately and unfortunately servers are way to good to be slowed down by anything this small these days- however it makes their lives a lot more annoying which is still a plus.

I was a victim of one of these scams, and my account almost got hacked. Technically it DID get hacked, but i saved it. I was having a full blown WAR with the hacker, and he kept on signing me out, changing my password, and i was doing the same to him, and it kept going on like this for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. There was ALOT of stuff on my account so i wasnt letting go, so i kept fighting that hacker, and eventually, he just gave up. Thank god i got my account back.

i actually fell for one of these but thankfully my instinct said "it could have hacked you, log out of all devices right now" and so i did, never knowing if it was a scam or not and now i know it was.
i got scammed by this along time ago when this was not in the light, i lost my perfectly legitimate fedora. we need to make people aware of this and take these scammers down.

View the process to bust a scam or tips and tricks to keep you away from malicious activities or recover an compromised account. One thing in particular... that first UA-camr was a female narrator, which probably aided in the whole trustworthiness factor. In today's society, you wouldn't expect a scammer to be a woman.

the fact that chrome even allows websites to have such spooky permissions tells you a lot about the security of said browser. common google chrome L
Yet websites still can't get the system date and time format, which seems like the most obvious thing to allow.
@@Liggliluff you can do that with the Intl api (Intl = internationalization or something). It allows formatting date/time however you want on the frontend (though it's not possible on the backend)

The thing that sucks about this is that since Roblox is for kids, many of these kids would have no idea that these are scams and they lose their accounts (ruining their day)
The only time a website has ever, _ever_ asked to see my clipboard was when I pasted an image into Google Drive. No other legitimate website has _ever_ asked for those permissions, and if if a website ever asked for them without an obvious, good reason, I would almost instantly close the site, run a virus scan, and probably restart my computer.

Worst thing is that this could easily be adapted.
There is a way to get voice chat on roblox without an ID.
But its not a way that you can get access to.
You had to be invited by ROBLOX to participate in the closed voice dev beta. At that time, the voice was only obtainable by being invited by roblox. Some of thoses invited needed an ID, but some didnt(they had a few waves of inviting more devs, some waves didnt need id). You had to be a dev, roblox employee, or star creator and be selected for the programm, as not everyone was. This was a couple years ago. After voice chat went public, the accounts who were invited to the program without an id still had access to voice chat despite not being verified.
I was one of thoses people invited to it at the time, among the no id required wave.

This is why it's important to be sceptical about anything on Roblox, Guardio tried to help this guy but couldn't really.

My friend actually got hacked from crank games from the how to copy any roblox game video, he got all his robux taken and the hacker spent it on limiteds, he was saving his robux, he had 16k but the hacker spent his robux on the red antlers (forgot what the limited is called) then the hacker did all these trades from a bacon account, but my friend got 13k robux from roblox support back
pretty sure they will sell those limiteds on ebay, it’s sad how scammers are just willing to get money because (maybe) they got rejected from multiple jobs and didn’t have a college degree before so they switched to scamming 5 year olds on the internet.

It is not like it allows this by default though. In the end it is the user's fault and not the browsers

And a correction, apparently Firefox only supports reading the clipboard in browser extensions, using the "clipboardRead" extension permission.

I fell for this one, they sent me a message on roblox and sent a UA-cam link that brought me to one of those tutorials and I clicked the link in the description and got hacked. Nice video also

I managed to be fast by resetting the cookies logging out all the devices in the security section of the settings and logging off and logging in again.
This resetted my cookies and now im safe

I was revisiting my old roblox account recently due to nostalgia (like an early 2013 acc, but I made one in 2010 that was compromised) and one thing I was curious about was the items I owned. There was this limited checker website to see if its poisoned or clean that uses the same method. I ALMOST got my account compromised (followed every step until I got the cURL part) so its scary to see how much more advanced scams have be getting to steal your account. Compared to how it was simple games that asked you to enter your pass and username (how I got my 2010 account stolen).
there’s a recent one that I’ve experienced. It happened to me in discord. Basically, I was trying to work with someone to trade something in a game, and they sent me a link. I clicked it, and it looked exactly like roblox. However, I realized it was asking me to accept some cookies and stuff. So I just clicked one of the things at the bottom of the screen, like Help or something, and it led me to this random page that was definitely not Roblox’s help page. Glad I noticed that lol
This happened to me once with Minecrafts website and I ended up getting my account stolen 💀💀💀
I like how this channel turned from a mee6 exposing channel into a roblox scam exposing channel.
i used to have an app that was filled with scammers, they led u to a yt channel and the desc on the videos had a link. it sent u to a roblox account on a fake roblox website and u have to log in to send them a friend request, but then it steals your real roblox account info
The sad thing is i fell for this shit when i was a kid but for different games like clash of clans and holy shit i still remember they genuinely looked 100% real and sometimes the videos had millions of views
And even thousands of fake comments saying they got exactly what they wanted
i have seen those its sad that people have the guts to do that
another thing to add to this is most of these channels were regular channels that got hacked into
i remember one of my youtube accounts (that has been inactive for years) suddenly had its name changed and uploaded two videos on how to exploit on roblox. what personally upset me was that they had way more views than all my other videos :(

I tried guardio, and funny thing is, this is the first time I get spammed with notification from an extension. Guardio is statistically infinitely more annoying than any other extension I have.
Hey, Ntts! I just wanna say that I was one of the victim of this scam. I was dumb enough and I copy the inspect thing. My account then got hacked after around an hour then got signed out from my roblox account. Though , I was luck enough to get in back because I have security pin which make the hacker unable to change my email/password. I did change the password + clear cookies but the hacker keep getting back into my account and signed me out from my account. I keep logging back into the account and change the account + add authenticator security. Eventually, the hacker couldn't get into my account. This incident gave me a lesson and I will never do it again.
btw, I was trying to find a way to join someone without being a friend of them (I wanna troll my friend) which led me to the incident.

My only problem with applications that protect your computer from malware, are false positives. I remember I was coding and windows defender deleted my code.
these people don't just target kids who want vc and to copy games, they also target people who want to steal roblox game code, want to get the ability to make ugc hats, the list goes on.

These scammers are getting out of hand, they used to be like: enter your username and password for free bobux now rheumy are like: imma end this man's whole career
The thing is many people are not aware of this kind of scam. Especially for younger users who plays Roblox wouldn't know any better with scams. this is a really bad situation for all these kind of stuff. I really hope that there is this feature UA-cam is supposed to have a long time ago where they will review your uploads, and if they have spotted any suspicious activity in the video, titles, description, even links and tags, will be deleted and be banned for a day, if they do it again, will have a strike against their channel, then second if they continue on and fourth, then deleted for so on and on. Also If your also wondering how you wanna see dislikes for scam videos, there is an extension that can show UA-cam Dislikes, and I promise you that it is not a scam.

A few months ago i have fallen into this scam. When i realize it was a scam i acted fast and changed my password as fast as i could and enabled the pin. Luckily my robux were not stolen.

Funny thing is, most of those are dualhooked (just started the video so I don't know if you have touched on it). This means that the message giving them your information in the discord goes to more than one person. So that eventually all of your "hits", go to one guy.

As a roblox developer it was very concerning since I fell for one of these 2 years ago, but now that I know how I can reset my roblox cookie I am safe since it's scary to store 300k+ robux onto my account while a individual with maclious intentions having access to it.

reminds me of the time when i was 8 and there was a scammer trying to get my account, but the other scammer had safe chat on too cuz they were prob like 9 or 10 and they never got my account cuz i didnt know how to give them my password
When I was younger, I played one of those roblox "free adopt me pet" games (yes, i know) and oddly, I never gave it any information, yet it was still able to log onto my account. Maybe you could make a video on that?
