- Do you have friends on Discord and want to change that? Well here's 9 (+1 bonus) Discord tricks that are fun to use against your friends, but they'll end up getting very annoyed with you.
How do I know this? Well I don't, I lost all my friends from being the most annoying rodent on the planet.
Anyways you'd expect this to be a tips and tricks type thing but genuinely there is very little education going on here. Maybe the bait videos will add some neurons to your dome.

Just noticed that they added a profile decoration shop where they're charging people for animated flares around your pfp, even if you have nitro
Just like they did in one of the birthday celebrations.
Ntts made a video about that it's coming, you can claim like three ugly frames for free and get like a dollar discount, it's just silly and not worth buying them. I just wish they had the other frame decorations that's been available before for nitro users
if your nitro runs out you lose the decoration
I thought they came with nitro, makes more sense tho

Little extra tip to add to the bonus tip: If you are in a text field and have the emoji picker open, holding shift while clicking an emoji A) will add the emoji without closing the selection, and B) will *not* include that extra space behind the emoji. For this banner, you can just hold down shift with one hand, and then click on all your banner emojis in a row.

The app protocols could be really useful for helping people who just can't seem to navigate discord very well to change some obscure setting they never cared about, it's a shame that it doesn't work on mobile. Also, some of these might have potential of being more than just annoying, particularly the bait stuffs
Program protocols is a part of the win api, its only on windows. Android has the possibility of adding this to the app but its hard for them

@@TheSillyDoggo Android has application intents, they could absolutely add it to discord with relative ease compared to some of the other stuff they've added to discord

For blank messages, a more effective way to do them is to type a double asterisk (**), spam shift+enter, then after spamming shift+enter type another double asterisk at the end of the message, and then send, and it will make a completely blank and really long message, (which is infinitely more annoying than the methods shown in the video). This is because normally when you do a double asterisk, and then type something then put a double asterisk at the end of the message, it will make the message bold, and when you do the blank message, it will think you want to make those empty spaces bold, but it won't show anything since there will just be empty spaces.

i personally do ctrl+shift+u and then write "200b" and then press enter twice

I actually legitimately got scammed using the fake invite method a while back. They sent a link to a middleman server (one I had used before) that had botted members and a complete copy of the staff. I thought nothing of it. In the middle of the trade, I realized it was a fake middleman server.
How did you realize it was a fake server? What gave it off?

I just realized, editing the fake promotion nitro message by replacing the original link with the rickroll's works both ways; they click the 'claim' button, they get discord trolled, they click the link instead, they get reverted to youtube's rickroll video
it already worked on multiple of my friends when they ask "the promotion is expired", and I tell them to click the link instead. it's more convincing since the message isn't expired and appears to be legit, lmao

There's nothing worse than you saying something to someone on discord and they don't respond but when you say something else magically they answer.

my favourite thing to do is send 1998 characters worth of line breaks with a period(or any other small letter) at the start and end of all the breaks. you can make a line break by pressing shift + enter. Doing this basically nukes your messages, its great :)
The third thing is fucking brilliant. Such a great way to teach your friends to be more careful with clicking links.
Tip: if you have a UA-cam channel link, to make the user automatically subscribe (they only need to click OK in a popup) you can add the URL argument sub_confirmation=1 (if there's no question mark in the URL, prefix the argument with one, otherwise with an ampersand).

You didn't need to uninstall it, just force shut down discord either through settings or task manager or smt and then reopen it

@@Chris_Cross discord was having issues on desktop this morning and if you repeatedly tried to send something or clicked retry a bunch cloudflare would block your ip for a little bit to prevent you from mass sending packets, it isnt really a big issue it was on cloudflares end and seems like it was basically ddos protection

Fun fact: Discord will show the first frame of a video file as the thumbnail before you click on it when uploading media directory into a Discord chat or when linking to a video file.
I have a video called "Rick Astley but it's the troll song.mp4" where the first frame is Rick Astley with a troll face pasted over his face. It starts by playing the very first notes of the Rick Astley song before switching to the "I am the computer man" music and video.

Back then on discord, the invisible 1x1 image used to make it so your username and the time info and everything was in the middle of the message. and it would look like there was no message at all, it was so funny doing that to my friends because they would be so confused.

I used to troll my friends by adding them to groups. Spam pining or ringing. And removing them when they come to check discord.

better invisible message: win+shift+s, select a very very thin strip of the discord backgroud from top to bottom and ctrl v over and over into chat

hypixel skyblock scammers sometimes use the fake discord invite link to invite people to a cloned discord server with botted members, where they then social engineer their victems into “verifying” by logging in with their microsoft account in such a way that they can steal the microsoft account and thus their minecraft account. This ends up also letting them have the mailbox, microsoft teams, etc.

About the trick 1 it's called code block the ansi is a standardized text formating where you tell how your document are displayed well it's verry nerd stuff but am saying it works for mobile to:)
