i once fell for this scam in 2021 and got my discord account hacked, the hacker turned on 2fa and changed the password, i reset the password and contacted discord but they never removed the 2fa

You should also report the account that makes the trade request by using the user id in the code, then Roblox might be able to return some of the items lost to the scam and ban the account.

The person had them go into inspect element of their avatar and copy and paste some stuff into that site. All of their limited's got stolen and their account was hacked. the thing about the "Report abuse" tab is that Roblox doesnt listen, that report would just be collecting dust. If they actually listened, there would be less scams and Pedo's on the website.
Mods do usually review reports actually, but most of the time they won't see what's wrong, or they won't notice a cleare rulebreak. I think this is cause they outsourced their moderation to India, which comes with a bunch of problems. They can't speak English fluently. And other cultural differences.

Someone in the group foolishly revealed 'when are we going to get their password, this stupid idiot is taking forever' text.. Right in the group we were all talking. It was very awkward and I said goodbyes. I was a kid back then but I'm very thankful some idiot said that out loud on accident, because I could of lost my entire account just because of people trying to pull this off. Stay safe people, even the people who compliment you, try to get close, or contact you, can be the most dangerous of all.

Roblox is actually doing some stuff to prevent those, but not perfect since they can just recreate a few of the code roblox uses for verification, but if your account has 2 step and everything it is way more secure, the changes i saw Roblox doing to stop scams were: New 2 step with Google authenticator Trades / Big robux purchases needing 2 step verification (thats why it is important to have one) Accounts getting logged out when IP is different on the same cookie and if you still get scammed you can call support to rollback your account but they can only do it once which sucks

The same thing happened to me in a discord server. Not suer how many of you play minecraft hypixel skyblock but i was verifying my account on a discord server. It made me enter my login details. I thought it was normal so i entered them to verify but nothing happened. I went to sleep after thinking nothing of it. The next day i log on and notice 32million /45 million of my coins gone and they took most of my items which was worth in total like 50m. I changed all my password the hour i found out and the next hour i log in again and see im permabanned. This was bc staff noticed my acc was compromised. I appealed and now curentyl have 2 more days left out of 7 days banned after i appealed. Keep in mind i spent like 50 hours grinding for all of my stuff.

Thing is: avatars of other players can easily be imported via plugins, and even if you don't like plugins, there are two game.Players methods that allow you to import avatars naively. You don't need to pay people to use their avatar unless you're a dunce and don't know how roblox studio works, and in that case you shouldn't even be part of the development team for that game.

This reminded me of when I was randomly messaged on Discord a few years ago about some random wanting to use my avatar - they were an idiot though and managed to mess up trying to tell me how to get my avatar.. When they started getting aggressive after some back and forth I realized this dude definitely wasn't trustworthy

Thing is: avatars of other players can easily be imported via plugins, and even if you don't like plugins, there are two game.Players methods that allow you to import avatars naively. You don't need to pay people to use their avatar unless you're a dunce and don't know how roblox studio works, and in that case you shouldn't even be part of the development team for that game.

This scam is quite old and the scammers who use this tactic has just stayed low. Younger and newer roblox users may not no this. I am not surprised if the next Ntts roblox scam video is about "roblox limited clean checker"

Bookmarklets are ironically the reason my account got hacked like 2 years ago, the scammers were so dumb they told me to put it into console but I tried bookmark as well, for NO REASON AT ALL and BOOM everything gone :/
I actually fell for the Roblox avatar template bookmark scam thing a couple years ago but I got everything back thankfully! Now I don't click on links
