I find it amusing that the description states being surprised by neutrality of Switzerland when there is a saying “I am Switzerland” when someone expresses a view of neutrality or if someone doesn’t take a side they are told to stop being Switzerland. I don’t find it surprising.

As a person growing up in a Communist dictator regime, I understand that the chance for the world is still democracy. Looking at how developed Israel is compared to her neighbors. I guess you feel offended but that's the truth. I am pro Israel dealing with the terrorist mindset which is good not only for Israel but also Palestinians if they will ever overcome their own mindset while other Arab countries have made peace with Israel. The west is not the best yet it is still better than any options now in the world, no matter you like it or not. And the problem with Palestine is not the territory but their mindset.

Regarding development, if you're talking about middle east, it's a very vast topic to cover in order to reveal the tales. But a simple sentence i will say. Currently usa "decides" which country is going to be developed, it is that our freedom and growth is related to usa's will, but in past was england i guess. And we're even here taught in history examples for that. Also true muslims among arabs won't dare to make peace with israel as long as it is an invador. When it has its own land, which it deserves carrying its name, then discussions for peace may occur. Making peace with an occupier isn't our will.
