It looks semi stealthy, doesn’t it?
@@jaredyoung2332 The video is trying to downplay the significance of the incident.
Another cause may be there for happening this incident (in my opinion)...
US is trying to bully China by luring the Iran war because, China imports almost 80% of its oil from Iran. So by crippling down the Iranian oil service, it will help the US in their ongoing trade war with China.
It also helps US in another way... As India also imports a lot of oil from Iran but the sanction is there now, India is already increasing its oil imports from other countries including US. So US does not have to worry about a major ally-India (in countering China at least) in this oil crisis situation as well as they will have the benefit of exporting oil to those countries...
Covert Cabal covert, how do you feel about the fact that the sailors said they were hit with a flying object, not a limpet mine?

If America doesn't attack iran it will have a massively bad effect on the future and peace in middle east. It's clear that iran wants to acquire nuclear weapons. And if they do that, all hell will break loose in the middle east. Saudi will want nuke of their own, threat of nuke exchange between iran and Israel will start, armed conflict will increase in the region and America will have another enemy who will want to nuke them. In short WW3 will come lot closer. So it's better to be brave and solve the problem now rather than making it a permanent problem. It doesn't have to be lengthy and costly war like iraq and afganistan. Just defeat iran's army, kill the iranian leadership , de-nuclearize iran and comeback. Only a matter of 4-5 months and 50 billions dollar at most. Take the lesson from Korean peninsula problem. During 90s and early 2000 when north korea was trying to develop nuke, America should have showed a little bit of courage to attack north korea and kill the kim jong family. That way Korea could have been reunited and solved the korean peninsula problem forever. But America took political, economic approach and now north korea has acquired nuke and Korean peninsula problem has become permanent. I hope that same old history doesn't repeat in case of iran.
@@rpgmarshal If new iran wants to build nuke then bomb their nuke plant again and again untill they no more want to make nuke. Arming a country with nuke is a bad idea wheather it's a ally or not. If a frontal radar cross section of 8.3m^2 is considered stealth then sure. But it's not.
Everything is relative, and in this case it is stealthy relative to previous models. It still has the RCS of a large jet fighter nonetheless.
The propaganda you're referring to was probably a sales pitch to people who know more about the line of aircraft than you do. I guarantee you that.
@@CJ-sl4wd You're probably correct that it was a sales pitch because it looked like one. The cry baby US government has since removed that video from Jewtube. In the video the RQ-4 was touted as having "High stealth features" (Was given 4 out of 5 stars in the stealth category)
@@meehanparast Yeah that's called marketing dude, welcome to capitalist America. If you're gonna hate us, please take the time to understand our culture properly so you can at least roast us with a realistic narrative. stick to arms, you don't seem to know much about either country's motives.
Iran's over-the-horizon (OTH) radars have significantly increased their ability to discover aerial targets. A military conflict with Iran won't be easy like the Iraq war for sure.
We have stealthier aircraft in much larger numbers, and they carry far superior missiles and bombs that can be released from further distances. The U.S. and Iranian militaries are both superior to the U.S. and Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
@@sirblackstone Yes, of course. But Iran's OTH radar Sepehr has a reported range of 3,000 kilometers (~1864 miles) and they have plans to increase the range to 5000 kilometers (>3000 miles). There are videos on UA-cam even from countries as far as the UK that can receive the signal from the Sepehr radar. They also have SIGINT/ELINT capabilities that enabled them to bring down a US RQ-170 drone in 2011.

makes no sense why would they fly with a drone like this one into enemy territory it's not even a stealth drone it's an easy target
The US has better drones for spying over Iran. They are probably up there right now and Iran isn't able to do anything about it. That's probably why Iran shot down the one drone they could see. Plus it sounds like the drone they shot down was a drone keeping an eye on maritime activity. If Iran is trying to get aggressive around the Strait of Hormuz, such as their limpet mine attack, they probably don't want a lot of eyes watching the Strait. Taking out US assets like this is meant to degrade the US capability to watch their speedboats. I'm sure the US has plenty of drones, and this one has already been replaced, but Iran is hoping the US will be less willing to use them, or to increase the cost for the US to use them.
I think it's plausible the US sent a non-stealthy drone into Iranian airspace deliberately to test their response, force them to light up some radar systems, etc. There really are tons of plausible scenarios, and we're never going to know which one is real.
really good keep it up.

Just For the record:
Iranian already attacked US Ships and US responded with force
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Praying_Mantis
And IT didnt ended in a big war. Just a Clash.
You missed the third possibility - the US snuck across the border and back again, as it has done innumerable times in the past and will continue to do for the foreseeable future. The goal is to provoke the enemy defenses and get them to light up their radars, scramble their jets and generally reveal their air defense network. Never forget that this is the very same country that flew U-2 flight OVER Soviet territory in complete violation of state sovereignty and only stopped once the Soviets learned how to shoot them down.
I GUARANTEE you that this is no accident, it is deliberate US policy and a valid (if illegal) military strategy - if and when a shooting war starts the US should thus have a pretty fair idea where all the Iranian radars and manned airbases are, right down to radar fingerprints and aircraft call signs.
It just so happened that this time the Iranians decided to shoot back, even after the RQ-4 left their airspace. I would go so far as to hypothesize that they fired BEFORE the drone left their airspace but the missile impacted in international waters. This was both a test of their own indigenous SAM system and a message to the US that endless trivial but provocative border incursions would not go unpunished. If you doubt this, imagine what the US would do if the Iranians or Chines decided to set a an intelligence drone up 30km off the coast of San Diego or Norfolk - the US wouldn't even stop to think about international waters or world opinion !
If the US wants to release ALL of the drones flight records including detailed flight path info then I am happy to be proved wrong.

The bigger issue of concern is why weren't the onboard countervalent defenses sufficient to deter surface to air missiles. The rest is noise.

Why would a drone have sufficient defenses?
You know those things literally cannot dodge missiles, right? When a Predator banks 10 degrees to one side it actually loses connection to its pilot, the things are THAT maneuverable.

And yet Iran is always saying they want war. If they aren't careful they're going to get one.
Okay. Explain to me how inputting my credit card information into, say, ebay is more secure with a VPN than without one.
5 views and 20 Likes UA-cam, are you okay
The view counter updates much more slowly than the likes counter.
It's not even logical that the view counter would be larger, given that this video is brand new. People haven't finished watching it but I'm sure people have already clicked like or dislike without really watching it.
When you get a notification, you can like the video before watching it. How old are you?
I've never been this early to a video, ever.
Iran told in Hispan tv that Irani oil export have not decreased and use other ways to export its oil.
Abe was in Iran during the attack on the tanker, it was seen as a success for Iran's international relation, they are litteraly the one nation that would have benefited the least from that attack which strongly suggest it wasn't them.
Iran: The cyber attack failed.
Also Iran: All phones start playing US anthem and showing abrams and F-22 footage.
TeoTomTasTer was that for real
@@thediscordperson1564 yes it was for real for those whos drones was shot down..🤣
@@Persiatic what do you mean?
If that made up story makes the shooting down of the Global Hawk less painful for you, then let it be.
@@mathislove3722 I don't live in the United States, and I find this incident more comical than tragic. No one died at least.
The fact that you say it's an easy target is very wrong! These drones have a very small radar detectable area because of their shape and design and use of composite materials. so don't underestimate Iran Air defence system!

Also the rcs of the Triton is not super low. Composite materials doesn't mean low rcs. The 787 has composites and is fucking huge
The RQ-4 has a frontal RCS of 8.3m^2 and a side RCS of 13.2m^2 in the low radar frequency band (A-D).
This is equivalent to a large fighter jet without stealth characteristics. This information can be calculated based on the geometry of the aircraft and RF simulators.
This drone in particular is actually one of the easier targets in a theatre of war considering it's lack of maneuverability and self defense suites. The only thing this drone carries is towed decoys which only increase the RCS of the aircraft and shift the target center slightly to hopefully avoid successful intercept. The effectiveness depends on the angle to an interceptor and obviously in this case it didn't work.
We put a lot of work into optimizing the survivability of our assets but nothing is ever perfect or invincible.
@@marincountyspotter17 Exactly, the use of composites only give designers greater power to shape the aircraft. In no way does the use of composites guarantee a lower RCS.
Keep up the good work dude! Don't let the shills get to you!
The US doesn't need to fly inside Iranian airspace. We've these things called satellites.
@gregory hatton , apparently neither can drones
