From my understanding it's closer to 'breaking of ice', which is in reference to spring time - Lxc's warm personality. (You know ice in the lakes breaks and melts in spring..) As an added evidence lxc in the novel has 2 separate scenes in which he caresses a flower, both times representing his affection towards people he love and alikening him to a spring breeze.
Holy god, so much implicit meanings behind their names! We could only imagine how well-read MXTX is in order to get these names from Chinese ancient literature. Speaking of which, maybe even surnames that she came up for MDZS also has hidden meanings. For example, 江 for the Jiang clan because they live in Lotus Pier aka near the river; 蓝 for the Lan clan for wearing blue clothes and living in the sky (obviously); 金 for the Jin clan because of their golden robes and buildings; 温 for the Wen clan, which means "warm" and thus translates to their sun motif; 聂 for the Nie clan meaning "whisper", implying that you only hear rumours about it, etc. Even 魏 from Wei Wu-Xian can be separated into 2 characters: 委 [has many meanings depending on its usage but in this case, it probably means being appointed as in 委任, being entrusted as in 委托 or being wronged as in 委屈 (possibly all three of them)] and 鬼 [meaning ghost].
mxtx was once asked about how she name her book title and characters, all she answered was “用心起書名，用直覺起角色名。” putting in the mind/heart to name the book, and use intuition to name the characters. from what she said, in my opinion mxtx probably didn’t intentionally flip through thousands of books and go on to the fortune telling websites just to piece together a perfect name for each of her characters. She a person who reads enormous amount of books and literature since young, therefore i would say the meaning of these words and how they’re phrased in poems had already became a bit like her second nature. She understands her characters very well and she probably kind of knew in the very beginning about how the story would go based on how they would interact when coming across one another. regarding the fortune telling stuff, since she said she uses her intuition to name her characters, i bet it’s either that mxtx has some knowledge about this field or it’s a coincidence haha. if she doesn’t have any knowledge about it, she’s probably the one with natural talent XD
Whether MTMX intended the meanings specifically or not, I think another answer is simply that many of these meanings and connections are just in the language itself. The Chinese written language has such a developed framework for thinking about heart, mind, physical world, worldly matters, future etc, you don't need to google one poem to draw on the well of deep ideas in the literature.
Something I would like to add into Jin Guangyao Character name is that he should have been name Jin ZiYao. Different generations has a word that they should use for their name, for Jin Ling generation it's Ru, then for his father's generation both his father and Jin Zi Xuan has the word Zi, while the generation before that is Guang. Implicating that Jin Guangshan never wished to consider Jin Guangyao a legitimate heir to the Lanling Jin Sect.
Now that u mentioned it, it’s quite true. Like my sis and me have Si in our name. My bf’s 3 sisters have si in their names. So it’s highly likely he dosent feel Jin Guangyao is part of his Jin family.
As a huge SVSSS fan, I'd love to see a video where you dissect the names without knowing the full outcome of the novel! An excellent future video topic indeed. Because suggestions are easy I'd like to see; SY/SQQ/cucumber bro, LBH (the difference between Bing-ge and Bing-mei), SHQ/airplane bro, LQG, Mobei-jun and SHL.
Another video idea could be the names or the weapons of the characters. In WWX's case are very straightforward but in LWJ, LXC, JGY and specially in JC's case, they are a little sad and complex. They do hint things about their development in the book. And yes, several are based on poems too.

Another character that I wished you would mention Xue Xiang (the one with sad background and missing finger as someone ran over his hand) something that you mention Ty. A person with a lot of potential to succeed may not turn to evil deeds if given a difference way to lead a life (or given a different guidance by parents or teacher) case in point Jin Guan Yao and Xue Xiang. Wow, I didn't know Wangji is taken from a phrase that talks about forgetting worldly affairs. For the most part, I interpreted 机 in 忘机 as opportunity, as in 机会, instead of mechanics 机器, so Lan Zhan's name could mean "forgotten opportunity", which is in line with his personal narrative within MDZS. The poetic reference also adds up to his character.

If you're fine with dubcon, go for it. SVSSS has a great premise, a funny narrator and really interesting meta on being a writer.... and then fucks it up in the end with dubcon and never selling me on the romance.
