@@jakk2631 You shouldn't be hoping for it... You should check Switch 2 guidelines. Any games from any previous console can be transferred to newer console.
Every Switch console is basically the same just with upgrades hardware.
This is the cases with the support of Nintendo servers unlike SONY that likes to delete any old games... Dafuq Sony...
Also this is the case with Nintendo3DS or it's series too.
Honestly Nintendo is pretty goat for never delete any old games. You just can't buy older games in new system but that doesn't stop you from owning them and download them at any time.
Unless Nintendo just bankrupt which is so unlikely.

Some of the music in this heavily reminds me of Three Houses and I love that

the music director behind the nier series, is behind the music, which is crazy considering the nier music is considered a masterpiece throughout the years.
Game comes out slightly after my birthday.
I don't know what's going on this year but for some reason the game industry collectively went "hey, see this guy right here? The one making a comment? Let's make *all the games* he'd ever want to play come out around the same time, either right before or right after his 40th birthday. Investigations 2 in English, a new Zelda, Mario & Luigi, Sonic game - Oh, and how about finally putting out Metaphor just to really mess with his head. This on top of releasing Thousand Year Door, P3, Unicorn Overlord, Fate Stay Night earlier in the year... Hey, is the Dragon Quest 3 remaster coming out soon too? Alright! Let's keep this idiot busy until doomsday."
If Mother 3 got an English release announced I'd be looking for signs it was a simulation, or that I was in some weird sick Truman show situation.

Not gonna lie, the one thing I'm looking forward to the most is seeing what will the running gag be for the series, literally the only reason there is to watch a Persona like LP, if it wasn't for Nico's comedy, I would just play them myself.

Plot twist: Metaphor is Persona 6 all along.
Basically yet another deity thought up this world and is running an experiment to test humanity (and screwing them) as they ALWAYS do.
Gods, demons and angels screwing up with humanity is basically the plot of any Megaten title, not just Persona.

That's why the main character looks like Makoto and his pixie sidekick looks like Yukari. And the red-haired elf reminds me of Mitsuru
The stuff with you also naming yourself as well as your character, along with there being this fantasy world that closely resemble our own world... it feels a lot like The NeverEnding Story to me. You think you're just playing a game (or reading a book) but the worlds suddenly blend together at the end. I have no idea if that's where they're going with this, but if it is influenced by The NeverEnding Story I think we're absolutely in for a good time with this one! Can't wait to see you play it!
My only observation, as a legally blind person, is that the color palette of the world is very muted, sometimes too dark, where I end up just seeing a brown or black blob and can barely distinguish the stuff in it, even in battle.
Hope we get options to control contrast and brightness to fix this, at least.

Even though the game isn't out yet, I already hope they make a sequel, prequel, or spin-off and name it Simile.
I've been seriously looking forward to this game since the veryyy early concept art was revealed, and was very anxious about the game being stuck in development hell. Definitely pre-ordering and excited for your let's play of Metaphor as well!!

It feels like a mix of persona and the main shin megami tensei series, rounded up in a more convenient and accessible form. I kinda dig it, honestly. It's like they wanted to make a middle ground to gain more players to their series.

Im a little sad that this makes the game less Blind of a Playthrough than it would have been otherwise (I mean like i would have loved to see a blind reaction to the guy ripping out his mechanical heart mic as an example) but ultimately im glad you enjoyed yourself at this event the game looks great.

I never played a Persona or Shin Megami Tensei game but I've seen gameplay and I really want to try this one. They have been developing this one even before the release of Persona 5 so maybe some elements they might bring here might go into Persona 6??
I'm a fan of RPGs and Fantasy, so I think I will try it.
And from what I've heard, this game isn't going to be making a definitive version after a few years after release. So yeah, I'll be all in on this and I'm really excited to experience it.

Since it's an Atlas game I wouldn't be suprised if any choices you made don't just influence your actions in the story but the story in the in game fantasy book your carrying around. Like its reflecting the state of the world and how your choices are affecting things.

I'm really looking forward to Metaphor but I have a bad feeling that the twist of this game is that our world/society is viewed as some kinda paridise in a "the grass is always greener" lesson, what with the more modern aesthetic and plot revolving around democratic election. Since those monsters are called *humans* it could imply that our world isn't perfect and got corrupted by our own greed but I wouldn't put it past Studio Zero to pull something like that.

@@Sairento-kun as someone who went through a phase of tales games. I played Graces, Vesparia, Bestiria, Zestiria, Xilla 1 & 2, Arise, and the GameCube one. They are kinda mid, no knock to anyone that enjoys them. I do think Graces and Bestiria(I know I'm spelling it wrong) are good games though

And there are also way more composers for megami tensei and shin megami tensei I and II, IF and alot more.
Whoever composed for SMT I made no question the best cathedral of shadow theme.
He also composed Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2

10:07 While i know you havent played it, digital devil saga has a similar move learning set with the hexagons, as well as being able to learn any move they want, because in that game instead of controlling demons, you ARE the demons, so if you like the way this specific part is, i highly recommend that game in the future

This game looks absolutely fantastic. I will say, if you like the music, SMT:Strange Journey is definitely the Shin Megami Tensei game with the most similar soundtrack (some of the music also sounds REALLY like FE3H). I haven’t played Trails through Daybreak, but the combat seems to be a combination of it and good ol SMT/Persona. The art looks really beautiful too. Metaphor definitely seems to have the makings of greatness within it.
This is the game I'm most hyped for this year
Tho I'm sure there's a technical reason it does feel like a missed opportunity to bring this to the switch tho as I feel it'd connect with the Fire Emblem and Xenoblade fans and that's a large market to miss out on hopefully they can fix that by bringing it to switch 2 but I hope this game does well as it's becoming more and more rare for new ideas to blossom
