@Coco Brownie That's true. Although, I have to admit that black people in the Netherlands weren't accepting of my natural hair back when I transitioned in 2008. Fast wind, now the natural hair community is booming. Once we rock our natural hair more and form a front there's nothing people can say or do.
For a person of mixed race, from Amsterdam, Anna seems like a sista from down the street anywhere in the U.S. I mean that in the most complimentary fashion. This family has made quantum leaps in adjusting to Ghana. Kudos to them all 'round!
We will miss them if they leave. I’m not Ghanaian but I’ve gotten used to their contents. Whatever decision that’s good tor them and their kids should be their pick.
These couple are so inspirational that although I was not born in Canada but grew up here....I might turn back to my roots and start something there to help my people
Vanessa you are a natural interviewer keep up the good work :-)love ur informative content about Ghana. Acheampong Family always a pleasure to see you guys :-)
Naija here 👋🏾 Anna - you sound like you were always meant to live in Ghana. Your accent and mannerisms sounds like Amsterdam never had an effect on you 😂 true Ghanian woman ✊🏾✊🏽
They can always go where they can find job and be comfortable after all a lot of Ghanaians living in abroad coming home every year they can do the same
Vanessa I really enjoy your videos they are helpful and knowledgeable. You have done well exploring and showing the great potential in Ghana. Well done
I LOVE the Acheampong family Anna and Kevin are good people I love there story, I also love that they are teaching their kids about Ghanaian culture. Anna's curls are poppin !
Great video- I love the backdrop very much. You can tell that Kevin is loving it more in Ghana now and Anna's perspective is through their kids- what a great mom! Freedom is exhilarating - no doubt!
just discovered your channel with the youtube impressions ! nice work ! i think i have many things to watch now ! cheers from a French guy staying in Nigeria since many years
I totally agree with your home should be a stress free heaven! That is one thing I noticed living in Accra (even in brand new apartments) houses takes a lot of fixing.
GREAT video +Vanessa Kanbi. Coincidentally, you remind me of Rachel from a BET show called Caribbean Rhythm. It was a show in the 90s that promoted the Caribbean like you are promoting Ghana.
@@VanessaKanbi -- Come to think of it, no UA-camr interviews popular African musicians and these musicians must get thousands of searches on UA-cam daily. That's a possible series for you. What do you think?

GREAT CONTENT #Vanessa 💪❤💯. #theAcheampongsfamily both Kevin and Anna are looking more beautiful than before. I think the Vitamin D in the Sun 🌞 is doing the magic.
Speaking of vitamin D, i literally just got back from getting the tablets from a pharmacy nearby, and it was gray all over 😩. There’s no place like home really 🏡 ❤️
I left the 9 to 5 lifestyle 2 and a half years ago and it god I hope not I have to go back to that life I will be depressed big Time. The feeling of being able to do whatever you want anytime you want is a gift. Now it is time for me to leave the country, why enduring the cold when I do not have to...?
Love the achempongs been following from start.. their experience has been very informative..they shouldn't go back to the west, but try another African country or somewhere else...the west is dying
I would love to see you guys book a group vacation in Bali & invite friends that we see you vlog on. If you extend it to viewers, my son & I will join!
If you build your house rather than buying it from a developer, things don't break down as much. This is because you have control over the products that are used in building your house.
Love the video thanks for having us again Vanessa 🥰
Love you guys! Great channel👏🏿👏🏿
I love how grounded they are to the actual Ghanaian community
Anna made a profound point about being comfortable wearing her hair natural in Ghana as opposed to Holland. Micro aggressions are real in the west!
the second she said that, i dived into the comments to see if someone else caught that.
@Coco Brownie really? How do they police your hair?
