Hustle culture but make it moderate-hustle-that-protects-your-health-and-well-being ... culture. getting into med school, getting through med school, and then applying for jobs/specialty training after med school can feel relentless. and it’s not helped by the fact that everything is so competitive. the application process pretty much pits you against your colleagues so it’s inevitable that you’ll compare yourself to a certain degree. But that’s why maintaining some kind of a balance between work and a life outside it cannot be emphasised enough. Championing self-care and prioritising other interests/aspects of your life gives you perspective - It is not just “ok” to do things at your own pace, it is perfectt!! I’m not one for long videos per se but this was v v easy to listen to. The collab slaps 👏🏽 Will be sure to tune in for the PS5 reviews!
