I am not Arab either but was so hopeful with the Arab Spring in Egypt adn then very sad when it fizzled, overcome once again by Western leaders with Arab leaders also partaking in their money and power. Similar in a way to American Civil rights movement. Which was a people movement but very soon hijacked by the White leaders with some black puppets who also wanted some of that power adn money but never really cared much for their fellow blacks after that. The USA will not and must not be allowed to succeed in changing the West Asia through its outpost Israel. Each and every Muslim around the world has a duty to see to it.
Dhul-Qarnain was granted immense power by Allah and tasked with using that power for good. One of his notable acts was building a strong barrier to restrain the corruption of Ya'juj and Ma'juj, a force associated with corruption.(Qur’an 18:97-98) In the modern world, Iran’s political role can be viewed in a symbolic light in relation to Dhul-Qarnain’s resistance against the corrupt forces. However, any attempt to claim a direct parallel must be approached with caution, as the ultimate outcomes and divine wisdom are with Allah alone. Allah reminds us in the Qur'an: "And We made from among them leaders guiding by Our command when they were patient and [when] they were certain of Our signs." (Qur'an 32:24). From a hadith perspective, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) warned that near the end of times, nations would experience great trials, including corruption, fitnah (temptation), and wars. The role of a nation or leader standing for justice, akin to Dhul-Qarnain, is to ensure that they act within the framework of Islamic principles of justice, as instructed by the Qur'an and the Sunnah. Historical mighty 2-horned king Cyrus who ruled Persia and Median, once resisted these Corruptors by checkmating. Is this the 2nd "Qarn"? Ultimately, it is Allah who raises nations and individuals to act as stewards of justice, as exemplified by the story of Dhul-Qarnain. Therefore, any contemporary leader or nation aspiring to embody such characteristics must follow the prophetic example and act in accordance with justice, humility, and faith.

An area i disagree with him on ' westen values are in decline' Look at the west, the values for hundreds of years are ones of inequality, where a small minority had huge amounts of money and power and most had nothing. People from Levante and North Africa often work in arab states (eg GCC) because money is better. This strengthens the arab economy and weakens the Near East and north African economy.

Ultimately, it is Allah who raises nations and individuals to act as stewards of justice, as exemplified by the story of Dhul-Qarnain. Look at the west, the values for hundreds of years are ones of inequality, where a small minority had huge amounts of money and power and most had nothing. We had a blip of better equality approx 1970's 80s but that has disappeared and getting worse. We have the historical phrases "know your place" "respect your betters" these are the values that have allowed them to commit genocides around the world because the idea some people are better is baked into the history and culture - and ideas the ruling class seem to be clinging too.

If there is going to be a revolution in the Near East and north Africa (not the Middle East because the Middle East is Arab countries like Saudi and GCC) and Iran, the first thing they must do is stop working in arab countries! People from Levante and North Africa often work in arab states (eg GCC) because money is better. This strengthens the arab economy and weakens the Near East and north African economy.
