The instructions are easy to follow with tips, tricks, and trade secrets provided by a professional florist. Make this bouquet a day before the wedding. Soak the bouquet holder in warm water until no air bubbles appear. Groom the roses removing the leaves and thorns. Put the bouquet holder on special bouquet holder clip. If you do not have one put bouquet holder in a heavy container, so you can use both hand to apply the flowers.
Start with longer flowers of cascading part and then move to the top part. For the top and middle of bouquet cut the stems to 2.5 inches. Keep adding flowers until the desired shape is achieved and then insert the greenery stems to create strong stems grids inside the bouquet holder. Strong stems gridlock ensure that flowers of this large heavy bouquet will stay in place during the whole duration of wedding ceremony. Mist the bouquet lightly, cover with loose plastic bag and keep in a cool place.
Materials used:
Approximately 3 dozen roses
Bunch of 10 stems of dendrobium orchids
10 mini hot pink calla lilies
Baby’s breath
Israeli ruscus

This is the first cascading bouquet tutorial I've seen that isnt just sitting roses on top of long greenery and orchids. I appreciate it
Thank you so much. I'm making a bouquet for a bride getting married next month using these colors. This was an excellent inspiration. Also I hope to be starting floral school soon and love the way you gave the instructions. Hope my instructors are as thorough. Thanks again.
I used this tutorial to make my first cascading arrangement, and while it was not the best, it was still gorgeous and made the bride, mother of the groom and the groom all tear up with happiness. I highly recommend it as a guide for beginners and a good review for flower arrangers who are a little out of practice! Thank you!
I love this bouquet.
Beautiful!!!! 😊 Inserting cala stems can be pain.....but instead of wiring and taping (which can interfere with water absorption to the stem) I usually take a ink pen and start to make a whole in the oasis foam....Then the stem slides right in. Fellow floral designer here. I love watching these videos. Even though I've been designing for 35+ years...(family owned business) I always pick up tricks and tips from fellow designers. Sometimes I'm like "well damn!!!! Why haven't I though of that!!!!!" Lol 💐Keep on designing!💐
Amy Allen thank you for letting me know about the pen 🖊 idea. Didn’t know that one. Thanks 😊 hun
Excellent. Thank you for this excellent video. GREAT directions - clear and slow enough to take notes.

Great teaching video. Beautiful. Thanks.
LOVE IT
Very nice
It's very pretty, but I don't understand how it's ok to insert flower heads with wire - they have no stems to take up moisture from the oasis, do won't they die too soon?
how long will it last? i mean how long will it stay fresh?
It helps to wire them too
wow
Do you think it would work to do this bouquet with silk flowers instead? I realize it won't be quite as amazing, but I would want to do it plenty before hand, and to be able to keep my bouquet.
Lauren Timmons Sure you can
+Lauren Timmons There are a lot of gorgeous silks that look very real..
Lauren Timmons hi watch and subscribe my UA-cam channel Kvlogs perera
Lauren Timmons .
I'm going to have a go and try my best to make the flowers look lovely fir my daughter thank you
I was wondering what size of a bouquet holder you used?
It's beautiful but I would add MORE to make it full
You dip the bouquet holder in warm water? I’ve always been told to use cool water. Can you please explain why. Thank you.
Holly Allen warm water absorbs better than cold. Cold constricts the vessels in the stems and thus no absorption, while warm water loosens or expands the vessels for more flowing absorption of water.
What is the greenery that you used?
Good

HI.. where do you buy that clamp to hold bouquet ?
You can make your own. Watch this video: ua-cam.com/video/FNGkbpUUgKI/v-deo.html
I would like to know how do you cover the holder because I don't think the bride will carry the bouquet just with the plastic like that. For me to cover the round part is my issue.
+Angel Valls You attach satin ribon with glue gun

It is so hard to listen to this video. It’s like someone is reading a monologue instead of teaching you how to....

Great instructional video but I have to disagree with one point...baby's breath and richness do not belong in the same sentence. It was looking like a high-end bouquet until the baby's breath was added. That threw it back to the 80s and ruined the finished product, imo. But wonderful step-by-step instructions!
I think it looks great with the baby's breath. Either way, it's stunning.
Baby's breath is back 'in' lately. It's a very 80's flower but it's becoming very popular again.
+Victoria Fullerton it has been back in style for several years but not in this way. You won't see something like this in a high end wedding magazine. Baby's breath en masse (e.g. a large "ball" of nothing but babies breath or a wreath of nothing but baby's breath) is the modern way to use gypsophila. Not in the 80s style of using it as a filler like in this bouquet.
Technically, it's the bride's wedding and if this is what she wants, that's fine but no bride asking for "richness" from a high-end floral designer will have baby's breath anywhere near their flowers.
And that was my only point. Everyone has a different idea of what "richness" is but as a florist, I can tell you that it's generally agreed in the world of high end wedding design that this flower is not something we use for high dollar clients.
i didnt say anything about richness. i was merely commenting on the fact that you said it was '80's' looking. i've been seeing it in A LOT of modern bouquets and weddings.
i didn't say anything about richness at all lmao
+Victoria Fullerton my entire original comment was about the person posting the video saying this particular flower "added richness." Obviously you didn't see that connection or maybe you didn't watch the video. So let me respond to you directly… You (or anyone else) can like baby's breath. Many florists can use it, either at the request of a bride or because they themselves feel it is a "rich" flower. However, most high end florists do not.
And just to make sure we are clear, I'm not saying that you specifically think it's a rich flower. I comprehend that you are commenting on the fact that you have seen this flower used a lot lately. My original comment was about something the lady in the video said and you took it somewhere else. Which is fine but just to be clear, my two points are: a) it is not a well-accepted belief that baby's breath is a rich flower and b) just because some florists are using it again, doesn't mean it is or should be "back in style."
Great video! But the girl who is off camera reading just about killed me. It made it a bit hard to listen to...
No sabe ni cortar los tallos y con esa profundidad de inserción parte la espuma 👎
Never seen someone have so much trouble inserting flowers in one bouquet holder🤦🏻♀️
Maureen Green I’ve seen people do it with less effort but it almost immediately fell apart. I do make them every week and I’ve never heard a complaint. Thanks for watching!
