I can say that my 2v changed my whole opinion on mustangs lol. I would always say how much I hated mustangs and would never get one. Traded my Audi for a 50k mile 2v and wow have I fallen in love with it and have a great appreciation for all mustangs now
I know this sound well, as do my neighbors. I'm running a full Borla exhaust, with Stingers. Also a Trick Flow intake, and bored and polished heads. Things can get loud. It is a good attention getter.

Jimmy Tuttle I’m honestly not sure, maybe something to do with the x pipe. I’ve ran a x pipe since I bought the car and no matter what mufflers I’ve had it’s always done it.
Deleting the cats and having long tube headers gives you them pops. H-pipes are better for raw sound volumes with pop/ crackles while X-pipes are raspy exotic crisp tone and tends to cut down pops/crackles compared to H-pipes.

All depends on how much you want to spend. Mine is a pacesetter from summit racing it was one of the cheaper ones out there. I’ve seen a lot of 4v’s on here with BBK x pipes that sound great.

No problem! I daily drove mine for 4 years. Only reason I got a fail was because I got tired of the 5 speed everyday. It’s been pretty cheap to own, I’m a mechanic though so I always do all the work myself.

Adam Roberts No tune at all, I had a set of MIL eliminators on it. Actually took them off a few months ago and it hasn’t thrown a light yet. But the car runs very rich, it could really use a tune
99-04 has always been my favorite body style. Also the best sounding (just my opinion). Is it a 5.0 swapped 08? Those originally came with a 4.6L 3v motor.
Catless BBK or UPR X-pipe, BBK or K&N cold air intake, and Flowmaster Super 10 mufflers. Order these from American Muscle, Late Model Restoration, or CJ Pony.

Matt Crowell No problem! Yeah, the Atak is too loud for my taste. The stingers have a lot more tone to them. I’ve had really loud exhaust in the past and it got too obnoxious. Stingers and no cats is the perfect setup in my opinion!

Fitment is great. Didn’t have any issues with it bolting up to the catback or any problems with the o2’s. & it’s catless.

It’ll do it any gear besides 5th. Usually once I get over about 3-3.5k rpm and let off the throttle
