my favourite way to turn this show on its head is to cast a woman as Audrey II, it adds an interesting perspective to Seymour's relationship with the character~
i actually auditioned for audrey 2 recently!! i didn't get the part because they cast people who've been with the theater longer as main roles, but I was told that if i was older i could've been a better audrey 2 than the guy!!
im actually audrey 2 in a production of little shop in my highschool, i got casted because i was only 1 with the ability to sing with enough attitude to portray this plant, the show is next thursday

Two of my dream roles are the Dentist and the plant but I'm white and female.
Playing the dentist as a drag role might be cool tbh, it happens the opposite way in shows like hairspray and Chicago
