I think nobody else noticed this but around 0:25 when Phil is trying to say something Louis is paying attention to him and when he notices that everybody keeps interrupting Phil he actually turns his head to the other youtubers while pointing at Phil trying to tell them that he wants to talk. That was really nice.

Am2 I went back, and I sow that. When I saw title and start watching video, there was Louis and I thought that he will be the one that interrupts Phil, (I don't watch his vidos, and just saw him in other people's) he just give me this vibe. I guess I was wrong, I misjudge him.
I love how even if they aren't dating or anything they still love each other so much and you can tell. Even in a platonic way. Like Dan knows Phil is shy and trying to talk and he leaned in and said something to Phil like "are you okay. I don't care if phan is real or not, I just love their friendship. They help each other out when they're struggling, and help each other cope with fears and strengths and weaknesses. I think we can all use them as idols, if I'm honest, because you don't have to like the accents or the existential crisis' but they're good people. I want more people like this.

When I saw Phil trying to speak, I literally cried. I'm not joking. I've been through this situation countless times and I'm so happy Phil has someone who'll back him up. Oh, shit, I'm crying.
you know what the two things are that make me angry about this? 1. obviously that phil is trying to talk and everyone knows that yet they still talk over him 2. HE IS ACTUALLY TRYING TO SAY SOMETHING USEFUL. all these others are talking about vlogging without pants while phil is actually trying to say something useful that might actually inspire other people. he asks politely which ppl in the room have made a video before and he tries to inspire them to make more videos and he cares about them and its probably one of the most interesting parts about this entire panel because he made the entire room feel involved, not just the you tubers around him. he is the only on who addressed the audience. like so not only is he ignored, but he is also saying the most helpful thing out of all the other you tubers. he knows what its like to be ignored, and rather than join in the conversation about vlogging without pants on etc, he actually wants the room to feel inspired and happy and its so sweet. I love their friendship so much. Dan is the leader of the phil defence squad. It was so amazing of him to actually get a mic and ask. Honestly I love this whole video. I found a 40 minute video of the panel and through out Phil continually tries to speak and like.. doesnt. It made me so annoyed cause Phil made really good points and such but kept being talked over. I noticed Dan getting more and more irritated with it. Its so sweet too, in this one, how Phil really went for it and Dan was chanting "Come on Phil" And then the guy was talking over him and he was like "Okay No" And Phil looked so sad and discouraged and I think Dan checked with him to make sure it was alright before pulling him into the spotlight to say his opinion. I personally think Dan was more angry at the other panel members for being so rude rather than than the "aws". They seem rather amused by the stupid shipping. I personally think theyre just friends, even if I love the idea of them together, I am not one to jump to conclusions. I wish I had a friend like Dan because whenever I want to express my opinion, people always talk over me, and my voice gets smaller and smaller until I just stop and I never get to say what I was thinking. Same goes for when someone is in my way (in a narrow space or something) I will not ask them to move (sometimes I will say "excuse me") but most of the time I just stand there awkwardly waiting or walk away. In school, I can't even ask my teachers questions because I feel like they are too busy for whatever I have to say/ask, and so I either never get any answers, or a slight-friend will ask them for me (if they care enough or notice). In all, I just think that Dan and Phil's relationship with one another (I am not suggesting anything specific, although it wouldn't matter either way) is something that should be cherished. I love how even if they aren't dating or anything they still love each other so much and you can tell. Even in a platonic way. Do you want me to help" and than he went out of his way, knowing it might annoy some of the other UA-camrs, and was just like "can Phil express an opinion" which basically meant "you can clearly tell that my best friend is trying to talk and you're obnoxiously talking over him so can you please stfu because this ray of sunshine is important and I want to hear his opinions. I don't care if phan is real or not, I just love their friendship. They help each other out when they're struggling, and help each other cope with fears and strengths and weaknesses. you know what the two things are that make me angry about this?
1. obviously that phil is trying to talk and everyone knows that yet they still talk over him
2. HE IS ACTUALLY TRYING TO SAY SOMETHING USEFUL. all these others are talking about vlogging without pants while phil is actually trying to say something useful that might actually inspire other people. he asks politely which ppl in the room have made a video before and he tries to inspire them to make more videos and he cares about them and its probably one of the most interesting parts about this entire panel because he made the entire room feel involved, not just the you tubers around him. he is the only on who addressed the audience. like so not only is he ignored, but he is also saying the most helpful thing out of all the other you tubers. he knows what its like to be ignored, and rather than join in the conversation about vlogging without pants on etc, he actually wants the room to feel inspired and happy and its so sweet.

I love their friendship so much. Dan is the leader of the phil defence squad. It was so amazing of him to actually get a mic and ask. Like phil is sweet, kind hearted and shy and it wasn't right for them not to pay attention to the whole panel. That is the point of a panel for everyone to pay attention to other youtubers opinions. Phil's opinion was the best out of all of them. He was actually seriously answering and giving great advice while everyone else was saying "hey most vloggers vlog in only pants and a top" do we need to know this? No no we don't! Also Louis did point at phil trying to make everyone notice him before dan spoke which was very kind of him. I love how dan still admires phil after all these years and sticks up for him. Honestly I love this whole video. I found a 40 minute video of the panel and through out Phil continually tries to speak and like.. doesnt. It made me so annoyed cause Phil made really good points and such but kept being talked over. I noticed Dan getting more and more irritated with it.
Its so sweet too, in this one, how Phil really went for it and Dan was chanting "Come on Phil" And then the guy was talking over him and he was like "Okay No" And Phil looked so sad and discouraged and I think Dan checked with him to make sure it was alright before pulling him into the spotlight to say his opinion. I personally think Dan was more angry at the other panel members for being so rude rather than than the "aws". They seem rather amused by the stupid shipping.
I personally think theyre just friends, even if I love the idea of them together, I am not one to jump to conclusions.

I wish I had a friend like Dan because whenever I want to express my opinion, people always talk over me, and my voice gets smaller and smaller until I just stop and I never get to say what I was thinking. Same goes for when someone is in my way (in a narrow space or something) I will not ask them to move (sometimes I will say "excuse me") but most of the time I just stand there awkwardly waiting or walk away. In school, I can't even ask my teachers questions because I feel like they are too busy for whatever I have to say/ask, and so I either never get any answers, or a slight-friend will ask them for me (if they care enough or notice).
In all, I just think that Dan and Phil's relationship with one another (I am not suggesting anything specific, although it wouldn't matter either way) is something that should be cherished. I love how Dan will stand up for Phil, and whenever Dan is feeling down or insecure, Phil will help him. Truly, they are the best of friends.
Everyone else at the table just looked so awkward and uncomfortable... I love it!

Ikr, I'm totally fine with phan being an imaginary thing, it's just fun to joke around about it and sometimes read a good fic where it doesn't even really matter who the main characters are. The only thing that kind of scares me is what if they both find a girlfriend/boyfriend and one of them moves out? That'd just break my heart but it's kind of inevitable, especially if phan isn't real. Idk why I even care so much but their lives are more interesting than my own boring life atm u feel me

I love how even after all of these years, Dan is still Phil's number one fan. He's still his biggest supporter and it's so sweet. I'm a phangirl but this doesn't even have to be taken that way. This is adorable whether it's platonic or romantic. It's sweet that they're so ready to stand up for each other and make the other one feel better.

That was like violently sweet and such an awesome thing to do. I have been overy spoken my entire life basically, so seeing Phil be and eventually sort of give up before Dan said what he did was heartbreaking. I'm so glad he has Dan and they have each other. In whatever way. Also, I really adore Phil's advice too, because honestly that is a really good way to gain viewers and build a community and it's how he and Dan started out, really. I love this Gah.

All joking aside, this is a prime example of their best friend status. Phil is such a nice person and I can imagine we wouldn't say anything to someone talking over him (like in the video) and Dan just gets so upset and protective and stands up for him. And then Phil gave some really valid advice to boot! I love everything about this video.
