thank you so much for sharing this beautiful walk, with you.I;ve lived in LONDON all my life.Retired and never heard of this place..Plans to visit summer 2022..
Thanks for posting this, I spent 3 weeks with my wife in Toronto for our honeymoon. Toronto Island was one of our favourite places and it had a totally unique feel. The residential bit was our favourite, such a pleasant place to walk around.
It's so enjoyable to see your walk of one of my favourite places in Toronto! Your weather was perfect again that day and it was great to see so many people enjoying the island amenities including the rides at Centreville.
I love the Islands. When I was a teenager, we spent a lot of time at the Centre Island beach....and walking through those fountains! Glad to see the amusement park is still there.
My wife and I were there on a hot June day in the early 2000s up from Western PA. The boat ride was so refreshing and an escape from the city heat. The skyline views are amazing, and at the back of the island looking out onto Lake Ontario you wouldn’t even think you are near a big city. Thank you!
I’m in Toronto right now and everything is awesome! I rode the line 1 to Vaughan Metropolitan Centre a few times and to Finch and have explored a few of the stops
I agree, its a lot easier to get to those cottages then it is to Muskoka. It would be great if the city didn't renew expiring leases and then allow anyone to book them for a week (much like the provincial park Yurts)
hey yoo strides👍👍happy toonie Tuesday all i hav to say all rides on the islands especially tose 2 seater cable rides above that wole road is madly sweet.
Thanks for taking us enjoyed both streams of the island right where the farm people can purchase pets and feed them the funnel cake 🍰 is ausome keep up the good work 🙂
I didn't make it to the islands this trip up... Definitely not enough time when you only have two days in Toronto...maybe when I go up there again in September, provided that the weather is as beautiful as it was from Wednesday to Friday lol. Great video, thanks for posting!

Wow 🤩 beautiful centre island and it’s been a while since I was there. I really like how you captured your videos and the quality of DJI mini pocket. I wonder how much this one costs? The quality of it here hasn’t change while my DJI mini drone footage changed the quality of it when uploaded. Thank you for sharing your amazing walking videos.
Was Centreville Amusement Park ever free admission before COVID-19 started in 2020? Because people just were able to walk in and not pay to enter. So what has it been so far?
@@pollardkowsill1095, you have to pay a fee to enter the park, as in most amusement parks, unlike past years (and you also have to pay for the rides as usual); didn't you understand what Johnny said in the video? You can get around this by buying a wristband for you and your family.
Dear Mr. Johnny Strides.... WARNING.... VERY TOUNGE AND CHEEK.... Please Feel Free to Use the Ralph Bag.... In this Episode, Our Hero, Johnny, was unfortunately not recognized by the attendant at the Fort Knox-Like Gate that keeps out pesky people from the amusement section trying to enter Centerville Island ... Johnny is Toronto's Vlogger.... And so He was required to show the attendant his fancy-schmancy all-blue wristband.... Nice touch... And so he continued vlogging the events at the amusement section... And prior to that, he had enjoyed a nice juicy and FAT Frog-Burger with all the trimmings, which included Frog-Legs, and instead of back bacon he wisely selected crunchy Lobster Back Bacon.... And no Frog Burger Special would be complete without crushed Snot-Snail, Sprinkled with House Spider Golosh Sauce....... MMMMMM.., We're talking about a Vlogger Superhero Burger.... Alright!..... After eating such a great meal join the Sprint to Bathroom Contest, many people are willing to run to the washroom within fifteen minutes.... It clears the bowl track better than a large salad or Prune Juice.... Oh, don't forget to eagerly ask for the plate of Fries with such a delicious burger... They should not have torn it down to put in this park, in the 50’s and 60’s it was so full of life and lovely people, now it is just a tourist trap. Sad to see this.
Lovely gardens and the skyline
I visited the Toronto Islands in 2013 and liked it very much. Thanks for showing
This is a beautiful place! Just walk around and enjoy life, perfect😃
Haven't been there for at least 7 years. What a beautiful view with the city skyline, the water and the swans! Thanks!
It's been 50 years since I've been there. Thanks for the tour Johnny
You're welcome!
That finale with the view of Toronto, it really is a beautiful city!
So happy for this walk . I feel as though I am Iactually there. Miss Toronto very much .

I love going to Toronto Islands. You got a gorgeous day. Thank you for this walking video. I haven’t been there this summer yet. 🤩😊

There used to be HUNDREDS of sailboats several years ago on a day such as this .Love from Ireland.
Fantastic views as always Johnny. Spectacular skyline shots to boot. Keep up the great work. Love the ebike and escooter productions too.
Definitely wanna go there one day
Very nice! 1999 was the last time I was at the island and amusement park, out daughter's 7th birthday. Great memories.

What's the point of going there now that they got rid of the train ride, and the city closed down the souvenir booths and the games booths?

Thank you . I like and enjoy your vlogs . It’s beautiful and relaxing pace, like I’m walking there, too. 😊
Hope one day I can visit.
Centre Island is one of those places that I never get sick of. I would love to spend a weekend on Ward Island to get the feel of living there! 😀👍

Love the swans and skyline!
You can strap me into a Giga coaster with a 300-foot first drop but you'd never find me on a Ferris wheel. Haha.
Fun walk! Enjoyed it. Thanks
Hey man!!!
Thanks so much for this video.
You are doing a great job in this channel!!
Thanks!
Your amusement park kinda looks like Oaks Amusement Park here in Portland OR.
The amusement park near me, Kennywood, removed its log ride a few years ago too. Indeed, they seem to be going out of style.
I will be there Toronto! My sister have been stayed for almost 3 years
When you visit Toronto, go to Canada's Wonderland instead.

Thanks for this vedio. It's helpful
The pony express had a child sit on a live pony that was guided by a person through a course. I remember that ride when I was a kid and I’m 57…Yikes!!
I was hoping you'd walk through the streets of Ward's Island - by far the best and most interesting part of the islands.
Your VLOG's are amazing

It's been free up until this season. You used to have to pay per ride.
@@JohnnyStrides So what is the difference with Centerville this year?

The largest park that requires a bike is Tommy Thompson Park. Way too long to walk through in the baking sun. The island is fun for biking aswell.
Amaz place to go but should be free for all . buy the way is it free for the 65 or maybe 70 y hold?
Come on Johnny get in there! Lol
Swell
Great place for families, I'll visit if I ever have one.
Visit Canada's Wonderland instead, you'll get a better experience, and more bang for your buck.

We can agree to disagree, but I think a large public space for everyone to use is far better than an exclusive community given the location.
