That's why I love NJ. These three guys are the best thing that happened into my life. I'm only 17,and their music help me through the livin'.. wish I were there..
ua-cam.com/video/ZqgYBRF9Qjs/v-deo.html "It's Been a long time is his best song. And "This Time it's for Real is second best. Both were penned by Little Steven. MY FAVORITES. But then I'm not that into him and Bon Jovi sucks; Bruce is very good
I always liked Steve and Johnny better than Bruce. Understand that I was born in Paterson in 1960 And spent many summers in Seaside Heights and Asbury Park. Steve and Johnny always had more Soul than Bruce. And I absolutely despise Bon Jovi.
Live in New England and SSJ has been a staple to see at the Hampton Casino since the 80's - the shows are great. Sad to hear he is retiring. I was hoping to see him again in 2025.
I've been going to gigs since the mid-1970s, and the best times I've had have been watching Springsteen (who I've seen 4 times) and the Jukes (who I've seen at least 10 times), and more recently Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul. All performers who give everything every night. Sheer joy from start to finish every time.
JON!!! NO WONDER YU WERE SUCH A FAN OF "SOUTH SIDE JOHNNY" AND BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN "THE BOSS'S" MUSIC STYLE!!!! VERY "SOULFULL SOUND" & LIVELY "DYNAMIC" STAGE PERFORMANCE TOO!!!! YOR BIGGEST FAN IN ANCH AK!!!! 🥰
Jon Bon Jovi has known and performed with Bruce and Southside Johnny since his teens. They have even eaten dinner at his parent's house. He has performed with them many times. He just loves performing with them.
Fantastic! And pure juke joint, bar band sounds of the shore... Southside steals the stage (again) and if you don't know who Bobby Bandiera is...you do now. The Christmas Show at Convention Hall always amazed. RIP #TerrysSong
WOW WOW WOW!!! What an amazing video! First time I've seen this one.... Always loved this song and SJ.... Adding in BS, JVJ, and SVZ made it absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!
Crazy….it’s like the thru line from when they were doing the same thing when they were kids… now old men…except they forgot that part…Bon Jovi part of the whole mix…crazy…
Looking for political songs like "Little Calcutta" and found this.... WOW... Being a teen with the SOP and SSJ made growing up in Billsville a blast... HI Leona, Diana, Hi Nick, lets go to Bulwinkles, we did dance our asses off. so great to be young under the boardwalk. Instead of fantasy football, imagine fantasy stage shows. Can you imagine adding King Joe Carosco and Jonny Saxx and the Sax maniacs to this mix? Fat Doggs would be a rockin'
Love how the person filming had no idea who was playing the solo....thought it was Bruce when in was Bobby Bandiera the whole time. Woops...hurry...get the shot before hes finished.
I don't think he's a poor man's anything!! He's busted his ass for 30+ years to get where he is in life and his philanthropic efforts are helping a lot of people. And I didn't really follow the band when they 1st started but have been impressed with them staying relevant for so long! You can't deny him some accolades, IMO.
Bon Jovi tickets are absurdly expensive so you might say he's a rich man's Southside. I can't really name one special song by Jon because their best material was written by Desmond Child.
Loyalty to a good old friend. Bruce and Little Steven have been friends since H.S.....and that's pretty much it, and if Bruce couldn't write and be the great band leader he is, he'd never make it as a lead vocalist either.
Supposedly Jon asked Bruce for some advice years ago, and Bruce told him if you really want my advice you'd be better off getting out of the music business....lol....my friend doesn't call him Bon Blowme for nuttin' ha ha
Most stupid thing I ever heard. This song text is utter nonsense. BJ songs are usually way better. Just take the whole These days album. Not one single song there, has got as bad text as this "one sentence" song
Bon Jovi isn't bad per se, it's just that he's more of a pop act and doesn't have as much integrity as a storyteller. I mean the band's biggest hits were written by a professional songwriter (Desmond Child). So this is a bit like watching a jam session with The Beatles and The Stones and then tossing Davy Jones into the mix. But I think Bon Jovi likes to align himself with edgier artists.
That's why I love NJ.
These three guys are the best thing that happened into my life.
I'm only 17,and their music help me through the livin'.. wish I were there..
I agree. Those three guys are what I love about being from Central Jersey. But then there's that Bon Jovi goofball...
He may look like a garage mechanic, but South Side Johnny can sing his ass off!
Yes he can, love that voice,!!!
And I have all the original albums Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes www.google.com/#q=Asbury+jukes
One of a kind for sure!
The Four Horsemen of the Jersey Sound....ride again
I dare you not to smile while watching this. Geez, I love Jersey music.
Johnny had a classic bluesy kind of voice that just couldn’t be duplicated. “I don’t wanna go Home”. My favorite.
Southside always rocked suntan Jam Riverdale New Jersey along with Max bon Jovi and Stevie
What do mean "Had"?
Mine is Hearts of Stone, given to him by Springsteen

Some serious NJ talent on that stage.
...and Jon Bon Jovi.

Jersey Rock and Roll..at it's finest!

These gents are still going strong. and the energy they have. Great live performance
Can confirm they are still going strong in 2023 - saw them at the Pony over the summer they sound good as ever!
Little Steven wrote this the day of their first simulcast on fm radio. Amazing talent Steven is. Thank you 🙏🏼
This one never gets old!
That’s why u have great taste -- thank u
Music vibe that can’t be denied, with a dream trio so real😎
I love this performance and watch it often. I love when The Boss directs Jovi toward the mic at 1:14 - he's like 'you jump in too, Jonny!'
that's a nice moment. but seriously, Jon Bon Jovi really has no business being on that stage.
@@TheFpCassini 😂😂😂
I don’t that I’ll ever get enough of this version- what a crew!!!
I've been going to gigs since the mid-1970s, and the best times I've had have been watching Springsteen (who I've seen 4 times) and the Jukes (who I've seen at least 10 times), and more recently Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul. This must have been a hell of a show!
I was at this show it was awesome!!!!!
I can only imagine! Everyone at the top of their game!
Yeah Johnny B it's real. Jon looks over the moon performing with both Southside and Bruce
Jon Bon Jovi has known and performed with Bruce and Southside Johnny since his teens. They have even eaten dinner at his parent's house. He has performed with them many times. He just loves performing with them.
Wow, this is some great convocation of Jersey boys!
Good, clean, American fun, on this 4th 2022. Thanks guys!
This video of the convocation of the true Jersey boys lifts my spirits during these days of Tea Party misery.
heaven must be in new jersey
Fantastic! And pure juke joint, bar band sounds of the shore... Southside steals the stage (again) and if you don't know who Bobby Bandiera is...you do now. The Christmas Show at Convention Hall always amazed. RIP #TerrysSong
The best music comes from the Jersey Shore. My bucket list includes SSJ at the Stone Pony.
WOW WOW WOW!!! What an amazing video! First time I've seen this one.... Always loved this song and SJ.... Adding in BS, JVJ, and SVZ made it absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rock n roll legends.. nothing else to say!#Jersey
Wow, that was awesome! :-) Friggin' awesome!!!! What an ensemble...and a great, great song, too!
Great team effort from the quintessential New Jersey rockers. Such a great performance by legends.
This video made my whole month...
They are playing at the Freeman pavilion in August, We will be there
His Christmas shows are the best got lucky to go to several.
Jersey rock and roll ! What a gift
God bless you for sharing ❤😊
What a performance.
legends!
Wish they would do this now 2024 at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park. Imagine 🙏🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
That had to be a great show! Thanks for posting.
Jersey baby!!
It’s a Jersey FEST!!! The generations!!! Crazy!!!
wish I was there!

WILD ARTIST!
Two words......Holy Shit!
Briljantno kralju. Volim te.
Oh go, Jersey boys!!!
Jon and Johnny fucking killed it!
great song
amazing set.....horns awesome.....
Kako pesma prelepo zvuči kad su muzočari dobri.
That time, it was for real; an explosion in Asbury Park.
Crazy….it’s like the thru line from when they were doing the same thing when they were kids… now old men…except they forgot that part…Bon Jovi part of the whole mix…crazy…
Bobby bandiera !!!!!
I would love, after a couple shots of Jack, to get up on stage and jam out with these guys.
Thiis is the culmination
..wish I'd lived my life in New Jersey!
They got soul!
With these four guys all on stage at the same time, I’m amazed a quantum singularity didn’t form and suck the world into an alternate universe.
Looks like The South shares a wardrobe with Paul Heaton from The Beautiful South

3 Jersey boys that made it big...
xx The Boss!
Love how the person filming had no idea who was playing the solo....thought it was Bruce when in was Bobby Bandiera the whole time. Woops...hurry...get the shot before hes finished.
GOOD GOD!!!
the new jersey saints
Jerseys Mount Rushmore of Rock n roll ..
Jersey's royalty
New Jersey Royalty
Jovi needed a tambourine, at least!
She knows where the old flame is
What year did this magic take place?
Thought for a minute it was Scotty Kilmer 😀😂🚗🚗🚗
✌💃
This Time it's For Real. Your English is fine.
OK kids, this how you do it.
😎
For a friend who, incredulously, is somewhere outside Baghdad.........
Is this when Jon recruited Bobby for Bon Jovi?
What the heck is John E, Bong chewing and why?
😂
why does Jon have to look so sweet?
Its unfair to the rest of us that Jon Bon Jovi is so good looking. 😃
Springsteen is the only person in Jersey who talks like that. Most people in Jersey talk like Tony Soprano
whats the name of this song?
and sorry my bad english
Jon Bonjovi was called up from the audience...:)
Check out our latest release:

This is a great song just sad to see Jon Bon Jovi participate. He's a poor man's Southside-Bruce-Little Steven. Can you name one special song by Jon?
Living on a prayer!
Yes, he accidentally busted his ass to success
I don't think he's a poor man's anything!! He's busted his ass for 30+ years to get where he is in life and his philanthropic efforts are helping a lot of people. @@RyanInLA Now you have to pay 600$ to hear his broken voice on stage. Sad.
Jbj
Someone in 2019?? Is Jon eating???kkkkk
Frank is the only Jersey guy not in this clip..
Considering that Steve wrote this song, he should have done more singing. He didn’t even get the guitar solo.
The only time i've ever been able to tolerate BON JOVI.....hard to see him in the BOSS' shadow....
what more could a jersey guy want? This is the mecca of rock and roll and unfortunately, is now dead! There will never be others
bollocks... this is good...
Bon jovi just got a bit cooler.
Would rather have heard Steve, Jon can stay home and watch the real Jersey Boys sing this one.
David Borzellino I never could figure out Little Stevie. He can't play or sing.
Loyalty to a good old friend. Bruce and Little Steven have been friends since H.S.....and that's pretty much it, and if Bruce couldn't write and be the great band leader he is, he'd never make it as a lead vocalist either.
the most natural musician of the bunch...writer, producer, all horn arrangements...There's no 10th Avenue without 'Miami'
I like "ALL" of them, BUT . . . it just sounds like a lot a noise ! I have been a fan of all of them for years, especially "Southside Johnny".
Too bad Bon Jovi could never write a song like this....instead of all the crap his band has put out over the years....
Supposedly Jon asked Bruce for some advice years ago, and Bruce told him if you really want my advice you'd be better off getting out of the music business....lol....my friend doesn't call him Bon Blowme for nuttin' ha ha

I symphathize with him. A great song, great musicians. He'll love it.
