I love you Jillian! Your workouts, encouragement and food advice has changed my life! You probably may never read this but I am so thankful for you! I am a mom of 2 boys and I have lost my pregnancy weight both times with lots of health challenges- 2 emergency C-sections, post-partum anxiety, gal bladder surgery, distastic rectic and on-going anxiety!. I use a calorie deficit approach, common sense and HIIT workouts from you . My body is more fit and toned than when I was in my 20s and even though I am 37, I feel great in a bikini. I am not perfect but I am healthy enough to keep up with my 2 active boys. Everywhere I go, I tell people about your methods. I was just telling someone the other day about combination moves that burn more calories (ie squat and shoulder press worked into HIIT program). I have learned so much from your dvds and videos over the years. Now I am teaching others and my kids about how to live a healthy lifestyle. I have overcome all my health challenges and use exercise to manage my anxiety .Thank you from the bottom of my heart !!! Adrienne , Mom from Canada

How do you know if it is organic grass-fed yoghurt? Are there certain brands that are the best in this regard? I didn't realize there was organic grass-fed salmon that on those rare occasions when I do eat it would be better for me.
I am mostly vegan - a bit of dairy, not much, no "meat", but occasionally fish, especially shrimp and scallops - that works for me. My problem area is when sugar creeps back in to my diet so I try really hard to limit them as best I can. I do the 12-14 hour fast as well!

I love the idea of 80/20 eating and how you said that the balance of this keeps you sane. I have struggled with eating disorders for most of my life and have only begun to find freedom in the last couple of years. I am finding that eating a little bit of junk food or sweets regularly helps make me feel satisfied and happy as long as I am eating healthy foods (snd enough calories) for my regular meals.

Jillian, I have been following you for years, once in a while I cheated with other trainers and their ideas, but I always always come back to you because you are the only that does not make empty promises, and more importantly your way just makes sense. Plain and simple. The hard work always pays off and healthy eating is not that difficult. We just , sometimes 😉 , look for the easy way out which of course does not exist! ugh. Anyway, question: pre work-out food? Is it the same, carbs-protein-fat combo? Or do you eat more carbs, or is protein shake enough? Thank you!!

How often do the organic pumpkin waffles come in, and the whole grain bagels, with organic cream cheese? Should only 1/2 of a bagel be eaten? Thanks. Great video. I counted calories for 11 weeks and lost 6 pounds. Then, I kicked the sugar and gluten habit in the following 4 weeks, and lost another 6 pounds, in a shorter time. Today, made one month of no sugar and no gluten in my diet. I've been sick with a cold for 2 weeks, but didn't use that as an excuse to get off track. I will continue this month, eating sensibly, with no sugar or gluten in my diet. Already, the condition I was experiencing with my hands going numb on me, and waking me up in pain, has improved. They are no longer on fire. They no longer wake me up in tears, unable to sleep. In the morning I can type, without have to stop, and try wake them up again, They still have a little tingling here and there, but there has been a big improvement. Once I get over this cold, I'll see about moving my body more. You are a great encouragement to me. Thanks.

Ok... do me a favor... try The Fitness App's free trial. Use it for a week so at the least you can see how all the different programs are structured. How the muscle splits are laid out. Which days are active recovery and or cardio - which days are rest days etc. Then if you don't like it just cancel it. you won't be charged and you'll be able to see all the meal plans too.

@@JillianMichaels Your app is the truth. I started watching your originally on the biggest loser and honestly I love that you never let people think that they couldn't work out hard if they wanted to and the fact that you taught people how to eat. And then the 30-day shred showed me how much you can change your body by working out 4 days a week for 30 minutes a day as long as you hit all the muscles. And then I stopped following you for probably 8 years. But your app iPad it since February and it's amazing. It's hard for me to want to work out with another app. I must admit I don't follow any of your programs on the app. I always make my own workout by generating my own total body workout. I have this habit of just wanting to do 30 total body workouts every time I lift weights instead of focusing on arms and legs. Do you have any workouts for people who may have to only lift super light weights. I mean 3 lb and less. I have an injury for my hand and I cannot lift anything more than 2 to 3 lb. It's driving me crazy to not be able to lift weights. I've been lifting weights since I started working out with your 30-day shred 12 years ago and now I can't lift any. It's just been straight cardio but I feel like I'm losing my gains. I can't do push-ups which I used to be able to 50 in a row on my toes. I need help Jillian 😘

Is it bad to eat chicken every day? You said you don’t eat a TON of protein. I’m so stuck in the mindset of eating super high protein that I don’t even know how to change that. I have it engrained into my brain that I must eat as many grams of protein as my body weight. Is this not true?? Ugh!!

What are your thoughts on sunflower seed butter ? ( I have a nut alergy.) I do enjoy pummpkin seeds too. I also do not eat much red meat, but I do eat a fair amount of veggie/vegan meat alternatives. What are your thoughts on meat substitutes? There is such a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian meat substitute now days!! I love them honestly.

Morning Jillian. Great video and great advice. However, as a Type 2 diabetic I'm somewhat hesitant about incorporating fruits (which I love) whole grains and potatoes. Any thoughts. Regarding salmon, which is the best to eat-King, Coho or Sockeye. Also, if I can't get wild salmon is organic farmed salmon okay. Are your eggs pasture raised. Glad I subscribe to your channel.

I would love diet information, I do great with my fitness, lift weights 4-5 days / week and Cardio 3-4 days / week, but i just get very overwhelmed when it comes to pods, You make sound so easy on this video, because like you say it is simple, just eat real food on moderation.. Thank you Jillian!

What type of oil do you cook with? We did butter for years but switched to avocado or grapeseed a few years back. Now I'm wondering if those are ok and also what your thoughts are on Ghee?
Thanks for all your informative videos!
