I' started doing that consistently, just about a month ago, then had to buy a new business suit, and bought my normal size, but the lady said the jacket was sizing bigger, so I got a smaller size for the whole thing, and the pants were bigger, in the smaller size! Thanks your accomplishment is amazing and inspiring at the same time!!! Kudos to you!!! and good luck to me! Same here, I'm down 28 lbs with minimal exercise. I try to aim for around 1500 a day but I have cheat days where I go over by 500 to 1000 every now and then (it's good to treat yourself sometimes) I really recommend calorie counting using my fitness pal, it takes a little while to get used to but you'll find yourself quickly dropping down clothe sizes and become more knowledgeable about managing calories and what foods you should eat each day. The best part about calorie counting to me is that even if I have a bad day and have some cake or something, I'm usually still at a deficiet since my cap is 1500 and I burn around 2500 on average each day. It's nice knowing that even if you mess up its not a huge deal and you can just get back on track the next day :) wishing you all the best of luck!!

    I’m five days into a calorie deficit for the first time in my life. I’ve been drinking a gallon of water a day and I’m so shocked by how well I’m handling this and how satisfied I feel throughout the day. I’m recovering from a binge eating disorder and I’m trying my best to heal my broken relationship with food. Ive been working out for increased periods of times every night because I’m not used to exercising this frequently. I’m up to 20 minutes now. Thank you for this helpful video.

    Facts! Iv lost 70lbs doing the same thing 240lbs to 170lb. And no it doesn’t happen over night. This took me 2 years. I eat about 300 hundred calorie deficit but walk 1 hour a day to get me a total of 500 calorie deficit. The biggest tip I can give to others trying to lose weight is to WEIGH your food. Look at the nutrition label and see how many grams is in 1 serving of that food. Most people who eyeball their food end up eating more calories than they think which will slow down your weight loss. If you’re thinking you’re in a 500 calorie deficit but actually only in a 200 calorie deficit you’ll think counting calories doesn’t work. Remember don’t forget to track sneaky calories like oils and sauces. Don’t drink your calories, eat them you’ll be more full. I promise you this works.

      35 pounds in 2 months is actually extremely frightening. Most health specialists I've met recommend 2 pounds per week but you're losing a little under 4.5 and that raises some hardcore health flags for yourself that could damage your body.

    • @SK-ck9qu

      @@XTheCrystalBeastGuyX It didn't feel frightening. I didn't starve myself or did any strenuous workout.I didn't have any particular weight loss goal to begin with. I simply switched from calorie dense foods to low calorie density foods such as vegetables, salads, boiled beans, egg white, yogurt etc. As the days went by, weight loss was natural and I felt more energy as I lost weight. So, I started walking/jogging. Also, I cut down on car use as much as was possible and walked instead.

When you understand this, so well explained btw (I love the way you are down to earth with advising the viewers, this is logic). I've recently gone on a health kick though and have really cleaned up WHAT I'm eating, not just how much, but this video really speaks to me and explains a lot. Kudos!

    Yes I agree. I started doing this and it's so sustainable and makes me feel in control. Plus it helps me to allow myself to deduct or carry over those extra calories into the next day. And I'm aware that for ie) no today I will not eat that specific food bc I already ate that amount in calories yesterday. I keep a food, serving and calorie journal and I'm losing so it works for me. Plus I'm not into committing to keto, or ww, or veganism. This method works bc I can have whatever I want in a healthy way....and being aware of every foods calories makes you rethink what you are eating and why. It's an ongoing process but it's healthy bc it's a lifestyle not a diet.

      To me this is the key/secret: finding what works for you. I'm the opposite: I run about 50% Carbs and 25/25 fat/protein and feel great this way. If my carbs get too low I feel awful, hungry, depleted, etc...Find your Maintenance, find your rations, stick to it!

    • @Lady.Luck.
      @Lady.Luck. 4 роки тому +5

      @@scottmitchell1974 yes..I do agree with you. I do believe there are various ways humans excel but that isn't what is taught. We are taught to follow the food pyramid, even though many of us are fat and unhappy on it. But people refuse to believe it could be different.

    • @mainers9618
      @mainers9618 4 роки тому +5

      Scott D, The key is staying on the plan long enough to find out whether it works for you. If it works you must stay on it for the rest of your life, more or less. The mistake people make is to use the diet as a temporary remedy and go back to eating badly when the weight is lost. That is yoyo dieting resulting in a messed up metabolism.
