  • Ah, recording yourself: one of life's greatest annoyances. Being forced to look at recordings of yourself used to be isolated to movie stars and news anchors, but because of the inevitable progression of technology, now we're all movie stars and news anchors!
In this video I explain how I went from being extremely uncomfortable recording myself on camera, to being actually kind of ok with it some of the time. Even though I love public speaking and attention, I have found that I really despise being on camera.
When I first started out recording myself, I would be in a bad mood for the entire day. It was just so stressful to think about having to set everything up, and I had so much hope and anticipation for the video I was making.
Like most things, those feelings improved when I got enough practice in. By creating hundreds of unboxing videos I was able to get used to recording voiceover, and by learning basic photography techniques I was able to make my videos look better.
I'd love to hear how you feel when you have to record yourself, and what it feels like for you! Hopefully I'm not the only one that gets nervous lol.
