only the big projectile count for the mission, most of time tormentor shoot small projectile so its hard to shoot the big projectile
Very much so playing the waiting game on this one line of sight and not being too close or too far seems to work best

Bro there's too much talking for tutorial man hurt my head it took so long for us to finally see what we supposed to shoot you could have skipped all that nonsense and just went straight for that I could have came back and watched the rest of the video
The trick from my experience is to find a big room, not break line of sight, not shoot them at all and wait. I've never seen one use this attack when I'm actively fighting it but I've had to shoot a surprise slow projectile down multiple times from a tormentor that went unattended for a bit too long.
Can definitely be a pain I was in an awful area for this footage ha but yeah line of sight and keeping aggro at a mid distance definitely seems to be key.....then just hoping it finally dos shoot it 😅
