Great video! 1 question, gonna use this motherboard with 7800x3d, should i update bios via q-flash beforehand or i can just straight build my pc with motherboard out of the box?
Thank you. I'd only update if you *need* a specific feature. Generally if it works, leave it haha
This mobo, combined with a 4080S and a ryzen 7 7800x3D running on a 850W gold plus PSU, is it a combo that'd work?
Yeah sounds good. I'd personally run a 1000w with a 4080s (as the fan won't spin as much with more headroom) but it'll work with an 850.

Guys i have red light on this motherboard first dram and then switching on vga and staying? Is somebody know how to fix? I already take card out put back and in the same, i biught new before one week..
I'd try your RAM sticks the other way around. This might sound odd but have you clamped your CPU cooler down overly tight?
I also had the same problem.
I ordered a new one two weeks ago. I built the PC with some friends eagerly, but the red LED for DRAM lit up right from the start. After hours of research on the internet and Reddit, I found out that it seems to be a problem that can occur with this board. It appears that quite a few people have been affected by this issue.
After leaving the computer on for several hours, the RAM was eventually recognized. However, then the GPU LED lit up, and only every other startup allowed me to access the BIOS.
I got tired of dealing with it and had the motherboard replaced; the new one should arrive in a few days.
Can’t decide between this aorus b650e and the steel legion b650e. I like the steel legion because there’s a matching 7900 gre but I might go with a 4070s and this motherboard. What would you go with? I got a 7700x cpu

I've been using the Strix since I built the PC on the channel with it, but I'd go for this personally, I think it's cleaner.
Just wondering, if you want to upgrade the m.2 drives at a later date should you replace the thermal pad with new ones? If so, where would you get new thermal pads?
You shouldn't need to, one of my test PCs I swap the drive in and out of constantly and is still fine. I can't see a drive that's been sat for a few years being any different.
can someone tell me whats the red light on the motherboard. No one talks about it.
That's an error code, what comes up with the status leds I mentioned. In the manual there should be info on what each one means, or just Google it. Generally don't talk in detail as there are so many different codes.

What's the difference between this and the same one but B650 not E?
Googling it says the B650E chipset has full PCIe 5.0 support, B650 chipset has optional M.2 PCIe 5.0 support
Ive heard people say that some motherboards don't have inbuilt wifi so does this mobo have inbuilt or not.
I spend lots of time and effort to make sure my videos have all the info you need, I can tell you didn't watch it as I spoke about Wifi at least twice.

I just bought a 4070 dual super with this motherboard. Two questions *(im quite new building pcs)*
1: I bought a 12th gen I5 unlocked can that decently run the 4070? Or do I need to buy a ryzen 7?
2: can this motherboard decently run the 4070 super?

@@jordanash and honestly no, I did not know. I did not think this through as-well. Now I’m having regrets on buying the parts early instead of doing a little more research.
at this price point you would think they would also have good audio codex but no it uses the old alc987. but its still tho.
People said it works well for them, but I think if you're serious about the sound then go for a sound card. I use one and wouldn't go back.

I did a build with a similar board that was $2000, an all white one. Those parts can be used in this board (minus the CPU obviously)
@@jordanash im going with a corsair rm1000x for my psu and i have a ASUS ROG Strix LC II with 360mm and a 4pin connector for my cooling system should i be fine with those? ive been doing alot of research and i know everything else i have is compatible but cant find anything about the power supply or a good cooling system. i just dont want to buy everything and something be incompatible, some options tell me what they can and cant be paired with but yeah just cant find much about cooling or power supplies

@@jordanash ryzen 7 7800x3d and xfx speedster qick319 rx 7700 not sure about short names for these lol but i know the ryzen is compatible and i saw a prebuilt with that gpu so i went with that
The 7800X3D is great, I'd go for the 7800XT if you save/afford the extra, it's a massive step up for little difference in cost.
