Original Setup:
Base sound system, consisting of:
front 2-way 6,5" component speaker set
rear coaxial 6,5" speaker pair
no centre speaker
no subwoofer
no amplifier
no soundproofing
no power

Help upgrading my 2021 cx9 carbon with the Bose system w/subwoofer. Definitely want to upgrade the subwoofer with out to much modifications. How hard would this be ,-any help bigger amp and spare tire location. Add powered sub with out existing spare tire compartment or add sub with additional amp while still using stock Bose mids and high. I’m at a loss

Did you have any issues with nulls in this setup (upper mid-bass)? Im debating upgrading the bose in my 2022. ( its okay..) but deciding on 3 way vs 2 way.
So how can I find someone to do a good job like you at whatever the fair price is? I'm in MN. How much did this cost the customer?

What if I get the lowest trim with 4 speakers, would it best to make sure the car at least has 6 or is it easy to add speakers vs cost?
All lower trim Mazda CX-5 have 6 speakers

where did you get the speaker brackets for the new speakers?
As you can see the black spacer rings we fabricated ourselves, everything else is part of the speaker that comes in the box.
What was the cost of this install?

That is correct. The car still has 6 speakers. They just replace the 6 stock speakers with Steg speakers (4 in the front and 2 in the back) and added the amplifier and subwoofer. This is a great way to upgrade the stock speakers on the CX5. I plan on getting that done in the near future on my CX5. They kept it simple and clean. Amazing job guys!!! Keep it up!!!
Thinking of doing this with a 2020 model. Will need to be a touring to get 6 speakers and upgrade the seats with Katzkin leather
Ventilated seats would be nice but I can skipp it if this gives me better sound and nicer seats
