I used a Garrett AT Max for a year before the D2. I go out virtually every day, all day into night......or through the night. I used to get tennis elbow so bad I would have to stop for a few days, even with a brace 😢 Not one friggin time in the past 2 years with the D2 ❤😁🥳😎 I'll hunt with kids around, not packed lots though. I prefer hunting at night anyway 🤪
Glad you changed that out. You took the balance out by moving the coil. Glad you put this on video. If I ever get one, I'll know what not to do with that coil.
I dont drop my tone break down in playgrounds..... Because i dig every last bobby pin anyways, or shavings from the play equipment in the play ground by me, the shavings are crazy, shaped like a spring but iron and very very small, but i always find new ones every time i go
Gold can read any numbers!! Shape, size, weight and the alloy composition of the gold determines VDI. The moisture in the soil, ground minerals and the orientation of the target in the ground have a huge huge impact on VDI also. Operating frequency of detector has influence what the VDI reads also.
@@PaystreakSuperfreak now if ya go to high end custom well ie 50.000 ➕ it's thicknesses but 80%is jem cost. Large thicker on shoulders of ri g's all about eddy .
I really like the D2 ergos the way it comes from the factory. Even with the 13x11 coil it’s still one of the nicest detectors to swing.
Thank you XP for your great designs....don't change anything!!
There's just something about the Deus 2 with the 9" coil that makes it perfectly balanced and light. I wouldn't change anything about that.
I would not change anything either. I cut off the cuff stand on the lite shaft.

D1/HF combo must be great for the fastest swinger in town with the stem-mounted battery? 😊
The stem mounted battery is a great design. Super easy to replace the battery in the coil.
@@PaystreakSuperfreakYou're right, I don't know why they didn't follow that design with the D2?
It keeps the 13" from being nose heavy. I haven't used it on my 9"
I will be trying it on the 13"
D2 is the Weight Standard. Detect ALL Day😊
Swing fast all day and not get tired.
Carbon fibre custom but then like all other extras expensive.
Destroys the perfect balance of the Deus...
I agree!! XP got it just right!! The same shaft and coil design for 14 years with 3 different models of XP detectors. You can't fix perfect!!
49=18ct wild vdi that unit.

@@PaystreakSuperfreak 18 ct is a special blend. Bet on it as 22ct KEY ON TIME LINE IS ERA OF GOLD HAS A FINGER PRINT OF ITS OWN.

@@PaystreakSuperfreak vdi notes must be in ground then air test then ya take that medium on both sets of numbers.
