I was glad the movie wasn't bad but pissed off at the same time because Afterlife and the remake sucked to me so I was super excited for this one thinking it was going to a long overdue great Ghostbusters movie but it ended up being just an okay film and the only thing stopping it from being great was the short time. It needed another 45 minutes
I don't what y'all want from it. I thought it was great. You have the new Ghostbusters & you have 3 of the Originals Ray Stantz, Peter Venkman & Winston Zeddmore, Janine Melnuntz Plus Slimer. I loved it. I thought it was great. I've been a fan since the original in 84.
@@Venkman29 It was nice seeing the og Ghostbusters have more screen time than they did in Afterlife but they didn't suit up until the final battle. The movie did have more story's to it than just the frost ghost and they were interesting but they didn't get enough screen time. They were cramming to much into 2 hours

As a fan it pains me to say this but I have to be honest - Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is a bad movie. The film is total a mess. It's an overstuffed, poorly paced, confusing, convoluted movie with an unnecessarily complicated plot. There are far too many characters, some of which have been needlessly shoehorned into the story. Most of the characters are bland, with very little personality, charisma, likability, humor or chemistry. It's overstuffed with unnecessary dialogue, dull subplots, pointless characters and scenes which go on for far too long. It's not funny either. I didn't laugh once during the movie, and neither did the audience I was watching it with. It's not frightening either. There are no scares in the film. Laughs and scares are two things you expect from a Ghostbusters film, but this latest entry in the series is completely devoid of any. Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan may be talented directors, but they're the wrong people to be writing Ghostbusters films. Afterlife was mediocre at best, but Frozen Empire is just plain bad. With a heavy heart, I rate this film 3 out of 10. I feel a lot of fans are in denial about just how bad this film is.
Everyone has their own opinion ig they thought it was bad but I thought it was pretty good you should just watch it yourself if you can so you can see if you like it or not

They're just movies. You can still go back and watch the old Ghostbusters and avoid watching new movies. It will literally not change anything in your life.
Need a Director’s cut badly… also could have cut Finn Wolfhards character, podcast kid and the black girl entirely, and it would have made no difference to the movie. Focus on the main characters instead next time.
