      @@notenoughtech I have to put up the solar panels build the 14KW battery then connect to the house. I will probably not do it yet. Anyway have play with node red a long time ago now. Best get back into it.

    Hello, I am looking for information about POWR3, I need to know if the relay can be automatically energized after turning off the equipment.

    Great video! which cable do you suggest to connect this just after the main switch of a 3kW system (25A)? 10 cm of 4mm cables? better 6mm?

    • @notenoughtech
      @notenoughtech  9 місяців тому +1

      Thicker cable will run cooler. If the cost isn't an issue and fits well into the terminal then go with a thicker

    can I use this smart switch with air-conditioning?
    Also, in the event of a sudden power outage and its return quickly, does the switch restart the air conditioner or protect it?

    • @notenoughtech

      It has software implement protection is not as fast as hardware one but your appliance should be fine should this happen

    Thanks.

    • @notenoughtech
      @notenoughtech  11 місяців тому

      The answer likely to be yes but it also depends on what load you are connecting. In reality your house is unlikely to draw anything close to 25A at the same time

    Hi. How do I know if my Appliance is on or off considering mine is connected to my geyser..? Also considering the WiFi is out of data. What happens when I press the reset button? Does the sonoff switch off? How will I know as the lights on the device do not seem to give an indication

    • @notenoughtech
      @notenoughtech  Рік тому

      Without connection you won't have controls or feedback from the device.

    My device is paired but wont connect to the internet. Every thing in my house is connected to the internet but this wont. This is first start up. I cant find any info on the issues.

    • @notenoughtech
      @notenoughtech  2 роки тому

      What do you mean by paired? Paired would indicate that the device is is present in the cloud and you have a control over it from the app - therefore it is connected to the internet. Could you explain this a bit better?

    25A single phase? What’s the use-case for this thing?

    • @notenoughtech
      @notenoughtech  3 роки тому +1

      Inductive current limit would be significantly lower than 25A depending on voltage. In this case you could drive much higher inductive loads than on standard sonoffs. Usually safe inductive load on 10A sonoffs is about 1-2A. While I have no information about certification for it we can safely assume that it would be around 5A (relays are rated for 30A inside)

      Waterheater for those of us in countries with single phase supplies to our houses but no mains gas….

    • @notenoughtech
      @notenoughtech  3 роки тому

      You could definitely run a whole heating system on that without worrying about sonoff being the weakest link (at least when it comes to current limit)

    • @RossReedstrom
      @RossReedstrom 3 роки тому +1

      Startup current/inrush is often much higher than steady-state: this can avoid frying your control device for those types of loads.
