Fun fact! (May be slightly inaccurate though mb) Buildings typically use triangle shaped structures in their flooring; which provides a lot of support! I forget the official name for it, sadly. But as an explanation, Triangles are a very strong shape, so if you add triangles together to make a rectangle, it’s stronger than a normal rectangle! So thats what they do, basically. They also have supports typically in the foundation and at the top of the building which weighs it down into the ground, with I believe magnetism? Also, metal poles are a very common part! Typically, buildings in places near fault lines like in the California area, or Japan, (which are in the ring of fire) follow these same designs. They vary widely across the world with the way they build their earthquake supported architecture and it is always evolving! Anyway thanks for coming to my pep talk im gonna go back to sleep again
