Looking like a good collection, I recognise most of them. A thought for you lenses think of them like bottles and turn them on their side - a simple triangle shape will stop them moving around and hang lens caps in pouches and lenses will shown glass front.
I've never seen anyone sucking up dust while drilling into a wall. THAT'S A GOOD IDEA. Nice collection of cameras and good work!!. Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷!!
Beautiful collection, Matt! 😃 We still have an old 35mm camera here as well... The same model my father got when I was born, but got stolen... Then we found an almost identical one in a fair and both it. 😊 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Seeing the cameras I used as a teen and young adult...described as "vintage"...feel officially old now...DSLRs are convenient...but miss watching my prints come to life in the tray of developer. Nice job of repurposing ...love the shelves and new workstation!
Thanks Matt, that's the great advantage of working in solid timber, it can easily be adapted and re-purposed, it's only since the advent of cheap man-made boards and mass production that it's become normal for people to chuck furniture out when they've finished with it ! Nice simple conversion, not quite as radical as turning a cot into a wardrobe though ! 😉
Hi Matt, thst was a great repurpose of the shelf unit, and the cameras look great in place, my current camera is a DSLR, I still have my first SLR, but don't miss the film camera, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
Nice video Matt. It's good when you can repurpose things you built when needed, saves on materials and time and you still get the satifaction you built it.
Collection of Cameras and Lenses might seem impressive/excessive... Miss all my Camera kit.... Re Tormek. Pick up a Melamine tray with a deep ish border/edge. It catches all the splashes whilst sharpening and will not move if you put some rubber feet on. I reassess my old projects all the time, generally when something drops off... Bob (Weston super Mare)

Loved the display 😍
The music was very consuming 🥰
Thank you
Nice collection, middle row with bodies and lenses, the bodies in the middle, lenses either side my OCD is shouting 😊
Those lenses will gather dust very quickly.

Fabulous collection of cameras and lenses there Matt, nice work reworking btw.
Thank you. I need more room already
What happened to your voice at 3:10? Double speed? Either way, that’s what I want to hear moving forward 😂
What was the tiny plane u used for the brass plates? Thanks
It’s a small router plane

I will take a look at trays
You got any 35mm leica thread mount lenses you'd be happy to part with? Struggling to find any in the UK 😂
Unfortunately I don’t
Am I the only person who can see these all crashing to the floor if someone bumps against it?
Do you take photos? with them
I use the lenses
I could actually listen to you waffle on about those cameras. Miss the sturdiness of 35mm equipment. Don't miss the dark room though. 🙂
Thank you. I have never tried developing
