Damn, that triangle jiggy thing is a damn good idea. I was balancing bevel gauges and everything doing the lathe, looks like Escher fecking made it 😅

haha, thanks! Just a really simple but effective solution, the idea came to whist thinking about how to describe the process in a magazine article I wrote.

Thanks, certainly worth the time to make it from scarps to avoid thew frustration of wonky legs!

Hi Lee, thanks will make one soon myself too. Say can you tell me where i can get one of these knifes you using? The chipcarving one looks particularly interesting. Any website you can guide me to, in the EU ?

Hi Erwin, I make most of my own tools, haven't made chip carvers for sale in a while but may do again in future.

High Lee, nice bit of work mate, angle block for drilling? Great idea. Lovely rustic shave horse too.
Something that really caught my eye 👁 ?? Is, your Logo, absolutely awesome mate 👏
    All the best 👍
    Cheers Les.

Thanks Les, glad you enjoyed it. My mate Lee John Phillips created the logo for me. the angle jig is realy simple but very effective, I came up with the idea whilst thinking about writing the magazine article this axe block featured in. the footage was taken a good few years ago, just only got around to editing and publishing recently! That shavehorse was my first proper green woodworking project, made on a course with Mike Abbott 17 years ago! Hope you're keeping well. Cheers

Love the rotating jig for avoiding the ever tempting, never satisfying, freehand leg hole drilling.

Thanks, yeah such a simple solution to avoid that disappointment! just came to me in a flash of inspiration whilst thinking about writing a magazine article about making them many years ago.
