I’m not sure if they have a banana van at the Epping Ongar Railway!! I’m no longer working there, but still belong to the Volunteer Association so get regular updates.
At least Bachmann aren’t putting all their resources into banana vans, Accurascale have got very boring lately in my opinion, the days of leaders of great model railway items has come to an end.
I hadn't realised the history and usage of these vans. I find it fascinating and am really pleased with the set of three I now have running (beautifully, Jen) on both my layout and the club layout. This review is very helpful and I'm almost tempted to buy more of the other diagram. Perhaps you could suggest prototype vehicles that aren't "boring"?
The attention to detail in these wagons is bananas.
Those look really nice, love the differences .
I love how weathered some of them look. It gives them a sense of realism.
What a super detailed review, and I really appreciated the history information too. Thank you Jenny.
Nice video. Love the wagons but too expensive for me. Sadly.
To paraphrase Woody Allen's very funny movie "Bananas" -
I'm bananas over this video.
Thanks for this enjoyable and informative video!
Those are exceptional models!! I think it’s very likely that I’m going to find an Accurascale dealership at which to buy them.
Nice vans!! They can be customised to be used by any of the banana importers. Geest is quite an attractive livery!!
I love accurascale 😊😊

Banana!
Matter of interest, are the vans the most detailed models?
I believe that there’s a Tadpole Trust coming to the Epping Ongar Railway. I think they are rebuilding a tadpole van.

Absolute rubbish, they are market leaders and railway modellers have a lot to thank them for. They've shaken the hobby to its core.
