I love that picture on the mantel from Hobby Lobby, very nice! Couldn't you put your white mixer in the shelves on the island? It would fit colorwise & free up space for your cold coffee maker since you'll be using it alot with the hot weather season here. Be nice to have all your coffee items in one area, just a thought. I like the microwave flat instead of angled because there is more counter space in front of it. Only saying because you asked, not trying to be "one of those"😂 Love the new flowers outside.🐛🦋

Agree. If you get another bed just put strawberries in it. Your zucchini plant could be scooched to the end where your strawberries are currently and have plenty of room. Looks awesome!!

The Coffee station next to the dishwasher would be cute. You don’t want it over by the fireplace, that doesn’t make sense nor do I think it will look good. I think the way you had your coffee pot and cups set up before looked good.
🦋 I would square up the microwave and slant the wooden bowl on top. I think that might give you more space on the counter and achieve the same effect. Buy some old plastic pitchers with lids (from thrift stores--like from old ice tea makers) and fill the bottoms with crushed (just mashed with your fingers) egg shells (after you've gotten the egg out) about 2 inches high. Fill the container with water, put the lid on it, and store it somewhere (outside is good) for about a week. Water your plants---all plants, even trees if they need it---with the egg-water and you will be amazed at what it does for them. Don't throw the egg shells away---refill the containers with water---and just keep using them. Water your plants as usual with the hose and add a cup or so (estimated) egg-water each time. Free fertilizer! You should see my plants---all roses are glorious! Everything is! Good luck!

I would definitely recommend that the strawberries go in a planter by themselves. I got two small plants and by the next summer, they totally took over my bed and I had to build another one. They have sinners that turn into bearing plants as well.
The mantle looks great. Your strawberry plants will spread too so you may need to move the zucchini plant or strawberry plants. I like the coffee station where you moved it to and like the microwave kitty corner best. 🦋

Hi Kelly I love your channel I have a suggestion for your garden beds move the herbs to the bed with the tomato and put the squash at the end where the herb was and that way the strawberries have time to spread
Hi Kelly. Your gardens look good. If you take the bottom few leaves off of your tomato plants and bury the stems up closer to the top tuft of leaves, it will grow roots all the way up the stem which will allow more nutrients to get to the plant and will yield far more tomatoes. Just a tip that I have learned. Good luck!

🦋Hey girl! I wanted to let you know something about your chives.You should put them in a separate pot.All by themselves because they spread like weeds! I’m in Mi and our chives spread to our lawn and girl the smell when I mow the lawn was something else!🥴We had to pull it up because it would not stop spreading.Happy planting 😊
Don’t forget to fertilise your garden. The potting mix will have some in it but your Tomatoes look like they need a boost. I use a liquid seaweed fertiliser when my plants are establishing themselves. It’s called Seasol here in Aus. The Zuchinni will grow really big, maybe put half in another bed. You can also grow veges in pots, things like your herbs will do really well as they often need less water than tomatoes, zuchinni, corn, peppers. Love that you are giving gardening a go. 🦋 Karen

I’d put the fruit bowl on the island in the center. The mixer either caddy corner down on the corner from the coffee maker or on the shelf of the island and I’d put the canisters in a cabinet just to get rid of clutter.
I like cabby corner best for the microwave. Put your mixer on top of your fridge til you need it. Sprinkle some Epsom salt around your tomatoe plants it helps them grow.
Hi Kelly, I think when you walk into the kitchen what do you naturally gravitate towards as far as your coffee area? That's how you'll know- I like both ways and there's nothing wrong with a refresh. Once you have your porch built off the dining room you'll know how you'll want the room to look. Maybe put your iced coffee maker on the wood cutting board next to the keurig and fit the lamp somewhere to the left of the cutting board. That way your mug tree can go where the iced coffee maker currently is. And try putting something from the crowded area by your microwave on top of the microwave (to use vertical space). I currently have my fruit bowl on top of my microwave

Thank you for trying to use less chemicals in your home by trying these alternatives. I can speak to the vinegar working excellent lay and the odor only last for a small amount of time, But vinegar blue dawn and Harm and hammer baking soda are miracle cleaners together! I would put the microwave against the wall because of the amount of dust that could collect back there. And though I think the look of having a small lamp encounters is extremely sweet, It is always a total deal breaker for me because it takes up too much space.
I would put the mixer in the cabinet or as you just said put it under the island. I used to have it on my counter and then decided to put it away and it looks so much better. I like the way you put your microwave kiddy corner.

Your flowers are so pretty! Love the kitchen changes. I would probably leave the microwave flat against the wall but I am not a huge fan of things being caddy cornered. But you should put it however you like it.
Maybe put your iced coffee maker on the wood cutting board next to the keurig and fit the lamp somewhere to the left of the cutting board. That way your mug tree can go where the iced coffee maker currently is.
And try putting something from the crowded area by your microwave on top of the microwave (to use vertical space). I currently have my fruit bowl on top of my microwave

Zucchini plants will get huge!!!! lol the leaves tend to be massive and can sometimes end up covering other lower plants. Yours are looking great!!!

I think you should paint the mirror above the mantel the same green color that you have on some of the accent walls.

Thank you for trying to use less chemicals in your home by trying these alternatives. I can speak to the vinegar working excellent lay and the odor only last for a small amount of time, But vinegar blue dawn and Harm and hammer baking soda are miracle cleaners together! I would put the microwave against the wall because of the amount of dust that could collect back there. And though I think the look of having a small lamp encounters is extremely sweet, It is always a total deal breaker for me because it takes up too much space.

I would put the mixer in the cabinet or as you just said put it under the island. I used to have it on my counter and then decided to put it away and it looks so much better. I like the way you put your microwave kiddy corner.

The idea of a couple of hutches is a great idea i have a small kitchen myself and found two on marketplace and painted them white and its given me all my counters back and far more storage and its all out of sight ☺️
