CR has this to say regarding the Passport: "There isn’t a good reason to choose the Honda Passport over the two better SUVs that Honda already makes-the smaller CR-V and the larger, three-row Pilot. We enjoyed the Passport’s plentiful power and roomy, two-row interior, but we were put off by its stiff ride, ponderous handling, and overall bland demeanor".
Not surprising people arent buying them when the pilot is bigger and seats more but still starts at a lower price, with a better interior and tech , and gets BETTER mpg. And theres also a pilot trailsport, which is only 5k more than the passport trailsport
I recently purchased a 2024 Honda Passport TrailSport and while it is very nice it lacks some features my previous car had. My previous car was a 2018 KIA Optima EX which had standard features that aren’t even options on the TrailSport. Both side mirrors folding in when you lock the car is standard on the Optima but not even an option on the TrailSport. Both side view mirrors tilting down when you put the car in reverse was a standard feature on the Optima but is not an option on the TrailSport. The Optima had a coin tray in the center console. Again, it’s not even an option on the TrailSport. The Optima had three line sets displayed in the rear view camera to give you a great deal of information when backing up. The TrailSport only has one set of lines and very little information. I solved the coin tray issue with a small Tupperware container. The other issues Honda could fix with simple software updates.
that 8" screen is so sad ... come on Honda... you could have easily put in a 12" screen with higher resolution...also, no HUD and that weak sauce display in the dash... otherwise - it is a nice option for an ok price.
Would have been nice if they at least gave the passport the instrument panel and slightly larger head unit (with faster process) of the Ridgeline. Whey did the Passport get short-changed?
The simplicity of this vehicle is so appealing!
What Honda still making there 3.5 L V6

What is the world coming to 50k for a basic Honda SUV crazy.
He likes the biggest flaw on the vehicle. That chunk of plastic in the middle of the headlight looks moronic.

So much money and not even led turn signals that cost like 5 bucks.
why are LED turn signals better than a $2 light bulb?
@@pesto12601nothing really but just shows that LED makes a car look modern attentions to details too
@@pesto12601 why use 145 year old technology if there is something more efficient, reliable and better in every other regard?
looks like a Ford
Subaru forester

It would be better with no screens

flaws would be the speakers and outdated infotainment
