Over time, I think you will appreciate having the Blind Spot Monitoring Indicator on the interior vs. exterior side mirror. It works well being within peripheral vision, and will prompt you quicker than you can turn to look in mirror. Especially in rain or winter conditions, when the side mirror can be obscured by rain, fogginess or snow.
After driving this for a while my opinion on that system has changed. While I still look in the side mirror my field of view does now pick up the orange light and I don’t even need to turn my head. It’s almost less of a distraction now that I don’t have a side mirror light going off. I like it! I think I’m gonna do a 30 day update soon after I get a few more upgrades that I ordered in the mail!
Just got mine last week in Canada the trailsport has heated seat in the back and a complete controle for ac / heat in the back console. Went from a cr-v to this and we love it. Love the V6 and the power it brings. Cr-v had a 1.5 turbo so it's a big difference.
Great video, I just ordered one in black, it's not for everyone but I think it's beautiful!! As far as the heated windshield goes it's temperature sensitive , you won't have to turn it off in the warmer weather, watching you from north of Toronto Canada 🇨🇦
Hey man, thanks for watching! Yeah, I’m slowly making my way through the instruction manual and I read that the heated windshield is temp sensitive. This is good to know. Enjoy your Passport when you get it!
Any reason you didn't want to wait for next year's redesign? I've been saving cash for almost 2 years now and think the new model will be my next vehicle. Just doin' some research now.. Also from Vaughan, ON who loves my mint, modded 2013 Acura TL SH-awd. Will be hard to say goodbye.
@lornestein7248 I love the old faithful J35, with the ZF 9spd, I've had 4 Honda/Acura V6 engines and no problems, I'm sure the new model will be sweet but I really like the 2024 Trailsport
@@lornestein7248I had many reasons to trade and buy a 2024. If the 2025 is a new redesign and god forbid they replace the V6 with a turbo 4 I didn’t wanna take that chance. I just got the same ride. I traded in my 17 Ridgeline. This SUV has a more refined feel. I hear the new Lines are amazing too. I would like to have seen the compass on the mirror. Also standard tow hitch.
I agree on the towing hitch and compass. I think Jeep Grand Cherokees have had LED compasses in the rear view or up above in a pod since the early 90s. Don’t forget that the Passport has a center stack compass when you go into Navigation.

I’m divorced with no kids so a three row SUV is a bit more than what I need right now. That and the $5k premium the Pilot Trailsport commands over the Passport, while is acceptable given the new Pilot redesign, was a bit more than what I wanted to finance.
@@tasteofnebraska it's a tuff choice between this and the new Pilot. I don't need third row either. Price point is almost the same for a none Trailsport Pilot
@@RomeyRome413 I wonder what the 2025 Passport Trailsport will retail for once it is released. I’m sure a redesign will command a higher MSRP. Regardless, the 2024 Passport has a nice old school feel that still feels connected to the road and I love the V6 but we are still breaking her in.

Hey you won’t need this for probably a couple years, but the transmission after you do a lot of highway miles in a row (I did 2 660 mile round trips this month and that did it) might seem sluggish, to fix it put the car in accessory mode (start button twice but no brake) then floor the accelerator til the check engine light flashes and turns off.
