Both those songs from their latest album 'Unseen World' released earlier this year. So both these songs have yet to be played in front of a live audience - this recording is the closest thing, from their live online streamed concert.
I'm more impressed with Band-Maid's diversity every time I watch this. Their sense of melody in a crazy song like this is phenomenal. Hi or Lo. Fast or Slow. They do it all. Peace.
Controlled chaos! One can really tell that the members like playing this type of more challenging song, their faces kind of light up ;) Looking forward to your next B-M reaction! Cheers from Örnsköldsvik! Trevlig helg! 😊
'They are their own special blend of awesomeness' I think this fits very well with your statement that the ladies don't let themselves be pushed into a certain niche. 😇 As I strongly suspect that a song like "Black Hole" does not necessarily belong to the kind of music you favour, and certainly won't help you relax after some hard days at work, I thank you especially for this video and wish you nothing less than the best! Hälsningar och tack så mycket! (I really hope this is correct) 😊🙋🏻♂️ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 「 'Our rock never dies ever. Forever!' 」- from BAND-MAID 'Manners' 🕊️
Man this song is a lot, took me probably 10+ listenings to wrap my head around it. I love it for it's ambition and headlong pursuit of insanity. But for sure it left me shaking my head, bewildered, the first several times I listened to it.
Black holes is a song that challenge how much they can do. All members will dash from the start. It seems like everyone is following each other, but there is no disturbance. If groovy is added to their speed, they will surely be invincible.
Thanks very much for the two reactions which shows the versatility of this band. Special shout out to Stephen Hawkins for his contribution to Black Hole.
This is their fastest tempo song at 220bpm. When Saiki was asked in an interview, she said "Are you ready? Let's go!" means "Don't get behind! Run through at your top speed!"👍😁
Hello, thank you for the video. I advise you to make, if you haven't done it yet, a reaction to the wonderful young singer Diana Ankudinova. This girl will surprise you with her artistry and rare timbre of voice. She has covers of famous songs, and also performs her own songs.
WARNING! It's bad MANNERS to stop listening to Band-Maid because you'll feel starved for musical excellence and joy and fall into a BLACK HOLE of emptiness... probably! 😵 Thx, Constanza!

Black Hole is way different than Manners, but as you say, showing their versatility! Are you ready, Let's go! Love this song!
Progressive tunes like this tell me they really enjoy challenging themselves as musicians.....

You should give a listen to Band-Maid songs "From Now On" and/or "Onset". Make sure you watch the "Official Live" versions.
If you enjoy Japanese all female bands it's well worth listening to Lovebites performing Set The World on Fire.
