- The City's Transportation Services, Engineering and Construction Services, Parks, Forestry & Recreation, Solid Waste Management Services and Toronto Water, along with Toronto Hydro, worked together to co-ordinate their work and operations over the weekend to improve efficiency and to minimize disruption on the Gardiner Expressway May 13-16.
That was a cool simple video showing all the work that was done.
Our tax dollars at work! This was a good idea to shoot and share this with the public. It helps take the sting out of having it closed all weekend when you can actually see the scope of the work required. Beautifully shot and edited as well.
i was stuck in traffic for a few hour this weekend and was kinda bitter until I saw this. Tremendous work guys. Thank you
Shoutout to the drone operator, those were some smooooooooth shots 😎
thanks for letting the public know what work is being done and some moments of it getting done, and yee shout outs to the production, it was fun to watch!
I enjoyed this. Actually seeing the amount of work done is pretty impressive.

Excellent simple way to show effective work being done. Mayor John Tory definitely is great organizer! Well done!
Cool video!
amazing. all that done in 1 weekend? kudos!
As much as this kind of stuff can inconvenience people for the short amount of time, it needs to be done and they did a great job!
Nice video!
Fantastic video, I have no idea how much was completed during the closure.
Wow I wish it felt this relaxing!
Thanks!
Very Nice...
Congratulations on doing your fucking job, you guys!

Wish the Dowling bridge was being re-built like it was.
I wish MDOT would do this......
If this was in the U.S., this would have taken 7 years to complete.
My city took an entire week just to fix a railroad station, these guys did like 100x that in a weekend... America is slow af
