Muddy River: The Heart of Fenway | September 26, 2024

The Muddy River is an iconic river in the heart of the Emerald Necklace. Its entire watershed, reaching across Boston, Brookline, and Newton, contributes significant pollution to the Charles River. We can clean it up, but we need widespread public support.
That’s where you come in! In 2023, we started a community-led visioning process with a public meeting at the Fenway Community Center, followed by an April 2024 webinar. We’ve been hard at work understanding the watershed conditions, the major sources of pollution, and how the watershed may experience climate change. A second meeting will be held on October 1, 2024.
