I was wondering what had that polydrive fastener. I really don't touch European cars. I recently won on Facebook some specialty sockets from CTA tools and looks like it came with the internal and external versions of them . I made a quickie video about it last week
Those bolts are buried pretty deep on the Volkswagen head. I’ve seen them where they are triple square and this last one was a poly drive. I was able to remove everything with A star Torx but I had to tap it in. It wasn’t until I removed it that I noticed the different shape. I don’t know why Volkswagen has to keep reinventing the wheel. Unfortunately when the bolts are buried so deep down it’s hard to tell.
It appears that on a 2004 beetle the half shafts are bolted to the transmission with 12point 8mm bolts, l thought they were triple square, the flywheel uses 12mm triple square, this one thing would keep me from buying one of these piles of shit
To confuse matters further, what about RIBE then? It looks like Polydrive exists only in number 10 for VW cylindar head bolts.
Thankyou! Now I know why I have to drill out the screws on my VW door roller guide.
What is difference between Polydrive and Torx plus?
what is the size of the triple square bit.

Did the touche bar today lead to the curved beak handle and where it pointed to
They do this to get customers to bring the car into the stealer and pay $150-250/hr for them to take it apart....
