I've been to Zakynthos three times!! I have to admit that it's probably one of the best places I've been to☺ I deffinately recommend it! 4th time 2016☺

Sorprendente Zante nei Grecia. Visitare quando ero giovane. Buonissime cibo mangiato Moussaka , Feta insalata , Fegatini , Pasticcio , Kebab agnello e Lasagna più Pesce al forno anche Granchia e Gelato incluso Torta di Formaggi limone. Mare bellisima. Isola serenita. Scenario tranquilla. Vacanza fantastica. Siamo stati benissimo, tempo meraviglioso. Antonio Jacqui Lucia.

Somehow the breath taking beauty disappeared as soon as the water was filled with humans.
Beautiful location at shipwreck beach,worthwhile excursion despite long journey,unforgettable.

Christian Plummer how do you get to the beach from your hotel? i mean where do you get a cab (since there is no uber) and where do you take the boat to get here.
I'm sorry I'm not much help as I've been here just as a kid, I know that you can drive to the top and we arranged the boat through the hotel we were staying at

Zakynthos' famous 'shipwreck beach' holds the ruins of the MV Panayiotis, stranded in 1980 supposedly with a shipment of contraband tobacco from Albania, so one of many rumors says. The beach was temporarily closed in September 2018 due to a large collapse of cliff face. Take care not to get too close to this type of cliff.

I must say if you go to zante for partying your missing the beauty of it. It is (in my opinion) the greatest greek island but it has been ruines by partyers. Go for the tourism and its amazing.

If you want a shipwreck boat tour when there is no crowd (you will be alone) then i can give you a tip, just ask me. It is even possible in the main season June-August.
Forth visit...first back in 92 Argassi then Vasilikos then Tsillivi hope its not to built up a lot changes in 26 years look at england...perhaps not.

***** And different tourists :) It is cheap (the price itself), but you see, in some places like Romania(where i am from), a normal wage is about 250 euros/month...so, even if the tour costs 25, you think a little bit about it before paying :)))

Una bellissima isola, ma essendo una isola con un passato anche presente dei terremoti, certi posti come NAVAGIO dovevano essere proibiti. Il crollo degli scogli sulla spiaggia del posto, il 13 Settembre 2018 era un preavviso dei conseguenti terremoti. Per fortuna non ci sono state vittime , solo sette feriti. Non voglio persarare cosa potrebbe essere successo nel periodo estivo dove il posto era affollato di gente.
