Truly is, the way it goes through three full iterations with distinct melodies, it's a full length song tucked in with 60 seconds loops. It's a Jesper Kyd level of overkill.
Fun fact: Many who are familiar with this title probably already know, but for those who dont, Journey to Silius was originally going to be a Terminator game but due to licensing disputes the devs rewrote the programming to make it an original title all it's own. And thankfully so it came to be, that if not for the aforementioned we never would have known about this version. And what a solid NES title this turned out to be.
Wow, very nice Stereo Remaster you got here! Journey to Silius is an absolute Sunsoft classic, love the sound of this game! Came across your channel and videos and I enjoy what you've done for "Stereo-izing." As someone who is passionate about 8Bit music (in terms of listening, sharing, indulging in history and spreading accurate info as much as possible), I can appreciate what you've done, I've heard many ways of people doing Stereo or Remastering the sound but this is the first time I enjoyed what I heard outside my own Versions, the Visuals are great with seeing the bars and waves, and while AI isn't my thing I think it fits well for these, and nice seeing a representation of an NES game with cute ladies!
Hey man! What's up? Appreciate the positive vibes! I have been, in fact, using your videos when cross-referencing almost every time :) for titles & credits and to compare the sound as well a few times (especially when I was figuring out that damn popping sound on DPCM ;]) Honestly, I might not have started this channel if I'd discovered you earlier, but I guess my research skills were lacking. By the time I found your channel, I was already too passionate about mine to stop ;) I'll hop onto your Discord later and chat you up. Cheers!
Умели же раньше шедевры делать пачками. А сейчас одну дребедень выпускают во всех жанрах, также и в танцевальной музыке.Эпоха великих композиторов закончилась в 90-х.
I literally sat down just looking for a quick listen of the MegaMan 4 GB OST and then ended up here instead, and now I'm pulling out the good headphones and the headphones amp and the whole damn kit.
Sorry, but this stereo remaster completely misses the mark. The original NES OST of Journey to Silius had a raw, energetic vibe that perfectly captured the essence of the game. This so-called 'remaster' feels like someone stripped away all the soul and replaced it with generic, overproduced sounds. It's a disservice to the incredible music of the original game.
Dude, I just compared and this version is literally the same one with the audio made crisper and cleaner while maintaining the original chip tune goodness. Think an improvement in bitrate.
Check out Blaster Master OST too:

With 2 original remixes ;)
Journey to Silius Stage II music is a NES masterpiece.
Hands down. It gets ya pumped up!!
I agree but also all the stages are amazing and so is the boss theme

The title theme and lvl 2 are the creme de la creme.

When the Terminator licensing deal fell through, they should have repurposed it as a Red Photon Zillion game.
I still wish Naoki Kodaka had done a rendition of the Terminator theme in his style.
This game was one of my favorite birthday presents as a kid. Still have my OG cart over 30 years later. the Epitome of chip-tunes.
The tune for stage I & V is a real banger. It's what I imagine my dreams would sound like if they had their own soundtrack.
your dreams must be full of action :o
Every single stage a masterpiece. I used to think it was stage 1 but they are all amazing even boss stage is purely amazing
consistently awesome this one indeed

У японцев тех лет музыка схожа с нами как при Коммунистах,а теперь 100-
что, тебе не нравится J-Pop? :)
Мог быть Терминатором,а то выпустили страшное
The AI generated women in the thumbnails are kinda lame :(
why? they're in the videos as well btw.
@@stereoNES they look soulless. I get the point of adding boobs to thumbnails, but if you had an artist do it the results would be cooler
@@MaplewoodStreet I'd love to have real artist do it. but that's not really an option so lifeless will have to do ;)
Naw they're pretty awesome you're the lame hate to break it to you buddy lol
When you post videos you can make the art
