Make the Majlis room as your kitchen( believe me you will have nice big kitchen where u can have dining table and it will give u privacy). Remove existing kitchen and make it either a study/ library corner or a big dining area combined with the living area. You already have two bathrooms, you dont need the powder room as a third bathroom. Remove the toilet and make it a storage room for vaccum cleaner, gadgets, etc. I've lived in many countries and this is my honest advice. Rest is your wish.

And that is good since all the issues if any would have been resolved by now and there wont be any hidden challenge. Will look forward to see how you guys are modifying it with interiors. Open kitchen looks stunning but in real u said it right it looks Messy..my kitchen is not open but it has a 3x3 open window type space which through to the living room...it is very useful as dinning table is kept just outside that small window...and useful to serve live food and at it doesn't look Messy at all... 5:01 if you can shift your gate towards left side you will get the same space there too...baaki ye flat nhi haveli hai😅😅
My advice will be to leave the kitchen window open as is, I also have same window and thought of closing it with shutter but decided to move in use it and then decide, mark my words, it will keep u so well connected to family even when u are working in the kitchen u will never want to close it once u use it and due to exhaust it never leaves a smell in the living, yes smoke will be there when u make rotis but that can be managed by opening door slightly
