Yomika Johnson it's a self-healing cutting mat. You can buy them from craft stalls but I got mine from Tiger.

Hi - at least 24 hours in advance. It needs to dry completely before adding to your cake.

Hi Susanna - this is a very late reply but if you are asking what type of gumpaste am I using, it's Renshaws modelling paste.
