Do the rear speakers have rivets that have to be drilled out like the front?
Can’t remember, been about 5years but if there is just drill them out and get metal tapping screws and make your own new holes wherever you like
So what’s the difference with a monsoon system?
Mr. Palencia It’s been a while but if I remember the Monsoon system had 10 speakers instead of 6 like this one (I only replace 4 in the video, I left the stock tweeters).
I need to replace my speakers in my 2002 bug. What speakers and radio did you use to replace your girlfriend’s factory system? Also is the new radio hands free for talking on your cellphone? Thank you
frenchy41474 The speakers are Kicker 40CS655 6.5 in, but a ton of different ones will fit. Chrutchfield.com does a great job of letting you know what does and doesn’t. As for the radio its a Kenwood but I bought that one for my own car 5 years ago, don’t remember the model. All kenwood single-din radios are great though and I think 90% of them are hands free talking

Rear speakers are the same then front? They are same size and power? Can I use front speaker in rear speaker place? Thank you
Lino Taffoni Yeah those are the exact same speaker front and back, perfectly fine to use “front” speakers in the back, as long as they fit. Crutchfield.com does a great job of letting you know what fits your car
