I find your enthusiasm intoxicating. I've made some doodle books and I can draw each day. I'm finding them so easy to create with and getting some really wonderful art pieces. Thank you so much for kick starting my art work again. This piece today is awesome. Cheers Lisa
CeeCee, I am one of your new fans. I am healing from a difficult and long-term situation. Your videos are so healing. You helped me to pick up my brush once again and I enjoyed getting lost in the process. You helped give me the incentive and “push” I needed to finding my joy. I learned so much from this video. Your supply suggestions helps me to choose specific items instead of going out and spending money on tools I would not use. Carol S
I am in total awe of your doodles. You see possibilities I cannot see. It is mesmerizing to watch your progress. And such a beautiful painting! Love it! ❤
Your creativity never ceases to amaze me. You see the beauty in things where most people see chaos. I am one of you biggest fans. Thank you so much xxx
Dear CeeCee, thank you so much for this informatic video. Sometimes it's hard to find the right markers. Combined with a very nice painting it was my sunday surprise 😉. Have nice sunday afternoon ! 🙋♀️
WOWW YOU ARE SO TALENTED!!!You always create such amazing pieces... sooo inspiring.... Thank you for being so wonderful and sharing your creations with us. These pieces came out so good. Is there a specific video that you have that shows how you created these? Thank you.
My experience with Molotow Liquid Chrome. You need a non-absorbent surface, like an acrylic background or similar. If you draw on a watercolor paper, it will absorb and the finish will not be shiny and beautiful. I hope this will avoid you needless disappointment 😁
Umberto Jatta Silvestrini thank you! Which is why i used it on here. Yupo is an almost non-porous surface made with plastic. That is why it shines like it does. I wouldn’t have used it on paper.
Have you tried the blackliner from Molotow? That's what I use and I loooooove them! 😍 Don't like using Sharpie cuz with them, UV and all, they change colour. I mostly use the Posca & Molotow acrylic markers... Yes yes yes for the liquid chrome! 🥰
Обожаю ваш канал! Могу смотреть бесконечно, хотя не знаю английского. Такие прекрасные картинки может писать только человек с такой же прекрасной душой. Спасибо за Ваше творчество.
I LOVE that liquid chrome marker 😍 as well as this picture! I’m new to alcohol ink, but this gives me great inspiration and like possibly I could do something like this. So TFS!
Always enjoyable to watch!! Xx. We find it relaxing to watch. Do you relax while doodling? Also do you doodle in complete quiet, or have music or TV going? It's always fun to hear how others feel creative. Xxx
@@creationsceecee yeah I like music too! It depends on how motivated I am too. If I'm struggling with motivation, then I likr to watch utube, if I'm really into it, silence!.... Until I realise it's quiet, then music 😁
I love all your alcohol ink pieces just the way they are!! Wow! And the doodled one is pretty twin!! Always enjoy watching your videos! Have a lovely Sunday!! xx
I have found that the sharpie paint pens especially after you have already opened them separate A LOT when they sit .... I have learned that I have to shake them like crazy check the paint shake again paint again ... sometimes you have to do little dots because it seems like the paint and medium even separate on the tip. I won’t buy them again unless I find them seriously discounted because the time I spend making them work is not worth the money. I know certain techniques are better for the oil based so I like to have them for that reason , but I will just spend the money on posca instead of the water based sharpie.
Hi CeeCee and thanks for your videos. I love them. I can never see where you link below for the products etc. Also can you demo how you do the “splodges” of colour and those lovely silvery spots - are they hand drawn after it dries. It’s so very pretty.
I love the finished piece, even with the big black blob! (so typical..It's happen to me before and I've nearly cried! haha) but honestly, when you look at the overall piece..unless you know what's happened it doesn't look out of place! I had so much fun playing with the alcohol inks, I should have done pen testers like you did because my piece the ink is still a little wet..I'm hoping that it'll seal it up when I spray it with a fixative. I totally forgot to show the smaller pieces which is super annoying as they are my fave ones. but I love the colours we got on the big sheets! I miss you so much..I wanna come back right now so we can art together (well..after you've had a nice long sleep😂) love you xoxoxoxox
LucyOodleDoo aaaah, kiddo... miss you too! It was a fun day for sure, as were all the others ones. You piece came out wonderful and no worries for the smudging: you can spray it with Kamar Varnish and let it dry completely. Maybe you can test it out on a smaller piece before. I’ve never sealed over India ink. Luv y’a oodles! 😘
I used your results to buy a pen that I could use with my alcohol ink. I wanted something to withstand the alcohol. I ended up getting the Sakura Microperm because that was the pen I could find. Yasutomo didn't seem "findable" easily in Canada. It didn't really smudge in your tests, but when I apply alcohol directly, it definitely spreads. I left the ink to dry for over 24 hours and it still spread. I want to do ink drawings and then alcohol ink (including the isopropyl) over top, but I can't seem to find videos that show the pen ink in relation to the isopropyl. Most just use Copic markers over the fineliner. Have you found an inking pen that withstands the isopropyl?
A huge shift occurred....instead of “gold!”, it’s now “CHROME!” 🤣🙌🏼🌈❤️😍 PS: WOW! 108K subscribers? Right ON CC!!! 🎉. CONGRATS!!!!! You’re sooo talented. 💋
Have you tried Kielty Inks yet? I understand they have very little odor & alcohol sensitive people usually like these. As always, I love your videos. Thanks kindly
Hi CeeCee. How did you make the picture you're doodling on? Is it just dropping different shades of ink on top each other and leave to dry? Or is it alcohol dropped on? I'm probably missing a tutorial somehow... But the treetop effect is so beautiful. And the doodling, of course! As your black ink splodged we said 'oops' simultaneously. I had to laugh 😀 Turned out fine tho! 👍
Me encanta tu estilo muchisimo, nos das una explicación de los rotuladores, pero no vemos cómo has realizado el trabajo a color ... por favor un tutorial de como lo has coloreado ... mil gracias.
Unfortunately, as I’ve explained in the video it won’t happened until next summer because I react very badly to the fumes even with a proper mask in a well ventilated area. However you can watch some of my older videos. I have a playlist on the topic: ua-cam.com/play/PLQAex0jgXrqnWxrVHAw9OCq3NPswarmI_.html
Hi, I'm so curious about what you experience with being sensitive to alcohol ink. I've recently started experimenting with them and boy have I been feeling unwell! I have made sure I have good ventilation but I'm really wondering if it's not enough or Im very sensitive. It could be completely unrelated too.. I'm not sure but I'm going to put them away and see if I don't start feeling better. I've definitely played with them a lot.
Hi from B.C. I’m watching your videos again to give me the incentive to try and create. I looked up the Sakura Micro perm markers on amazon.ca there is a 3pc set but in the description it said that the pen was removable with alcohol. Are they the ones you use? As always love your work !!! Thank you for sharing your artistry with us.
Myriam’s Nature says Kielty Alcohol inks are non toxic and good for people who are allergic or asthmatic. From Ireland developed and made by a chemist. I can’t seem to find them now due to COVID and shipping. But maybe in the future....
i just checked mine and it doesn't list alcohol in it. but i'm wondering if it wouldn't be the citric acid that disturbs the alcohol inks. in any case, i would not rub over my painting with baby wipes LOL this was purely for testing purposes.
There are new alcohol inks from Ireland that would be just the thing for you. Kieltie or something like that. I will post a link below. Non toxic, no smell and it is available over here now as it was not when the video below was made.

CeeCee - First, I love your work! It is lovely and your videos are both informative and a joy to watch. However, as I was watching this one, it made me rewind and take a second look. I use Pigma Micron pens in all my work, every day. I have never had them smudge or smear, and they have always been waterproof for me. I use only the .005s and the .003s in black, brown, and sepia. I draw with them and then watercolor right over them and also use colored pencil over them, sometimes even just seconds after putting down the ink. Maybe it's because I use the really fine ones that they dry so quickly? Anyway, you can see what I mean on my Instagram: @bonnierosendale. (Please, I am not trying for a personal plug here. This just shows what I do with the ink so you can see. It never smears or smudges for me.)
Bonnie, Pigma Micron pens are definitely waterproof on paper and resistent to water or watercolors! i use them as well. however, this test was done on YUPO paper which is made of plastic and non-porous. and although the Pigma Microns does write very well on yupo, they will smudge. i hope this helps!
