WOW this was soooooo very informative. Who knew that there were so many ways to use alcohol markers. I have a set and had NO idea how to use them. Thanks!!1
Thank you for sharing Ali,lots of lovely tips too! So lovely to see the face behind the voice😁. May I ask if you do crafting as your full time job?,you are brilliant at colouring….🌸💐👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks Tina, glad you enjoyed it! I had not been on camera for a long time so thought it'd make a change 😂 It's not my full time job no, I'm a Content Executive for a web development agency! I do corporate marketing basically 😅 My UA-cam and crafting is my hobby at the moment but maybe one day it can be more ♥️ thanks so much that's very kind, I've watched a lot of UA-cam tutorials and had a lot of practice xx
This was a brilliant video! Thank you. Simple, to the point & very clear. Was about to subscribe but noticed you'd not posted in a long time. Also been hearing a lot about companies such as Ali Express, stealing artists work and so that put me off too
Ah I loved this vid...We cant get these more expensive markers here so I have a chinese brand and I have struggled with them as the colours are so different to the names and the colours on the tops and it makes it hard for blending but I absolutely love playing with them and I guess practice makes perfect. I am sooooooo glad I found your channel. All the things I want to watch and try thank you Alli
I have used cheaper brands for a long time and you can totally still get a great result with them! So happy you are here Valerie, thanks so much for watching and leaving me your feedback ❤
Great techniques! i am intrigued to try the dot work, It's not something i had thought about doing when it came to colouring in stamps :) lovely to see you on camera! xx
Thank you Soph! Definitely give the dot work a go, it's so much fun and looks really striking. Aww thank you! I was a bit nervous because I hadn't been on camera for a long time!! But thought it was about time I showed my face 😜 xx
What a treat! Thank you for the video, I love die cutting but I always find incredibly difficult and intimidating stamping! You are so inspiring Alli! 🤩
OK first off, YAY for seeing your beautiful face on this video, your hair looks amazing! And such a useful one too, so many useful tips! The dotted colouring style gives such a cool effect. Also the editing and transitions? Killing it, Alli!!
Thank you great straightforward colouring tutorial - I will be revisiting and trying out. Have you got advice/video for colouring in small stamps - I have lots and lots of stamps of small images which I just never use because of lack of colouring prowess! Any guidance appreciated 😊
Thankyou so much for posting this lovely informative video. I just got into stamping and I was struggling to find a good ink that doesn’t smudge when colouring with alcohol markers ❤
Very helpful thank you!! So far all I think I can do is flat colouring, but your tips etc help to make it less daunting and so I want to become a bit more experimental. Also sometimes why do we make it more complicated and daunting than need be?!? ☺️
You're welcome Michaela! I definitely think you could experiment with some other techniques - just give it a go. You can always start again 😜 oh absolutely - I've put off so many things because I was worried about going wrong! But it's only paper ♥️
I wouldn't recommend Arteza to anyone. Their products are not worth the price they ask. It's just overpriced crap cheaply made in China. Save yourself the money and just get cheap chinese stuff instead of buying it for premium price. There are tons of much cheaper alcohol markers and alcohol brush markers available on the internet. Which are the same quality as Arteza's markers.
Do you know what you want to tell people? Filming every single sentence comes off as really unnatural and fake to be honest. Not nice to watch. Can't continue with all the zooming in and out.
I wish I had seeing these video when I started stamping, is so full of information ❤ tks so much for sharing!
Thank you. Very new to stamping and love to see the marker work but was not finding the info I needed till I ran across your video.

Can you use this stamp and alcohol technique on Gelli plates? Loved your video today. I just got my delivery of alcohol markers last night.

Great video! What company did you purchase the bird stamps used in the rough strokes technique? They were lovely. New sub from the States.

Awww Jewel you are too nice!! Thank you so much for this sweet comment ♥️ sending love your way xxx
I have found that some alcohol markers actually react with Memento Ink and smudge everywhere. Be sure to test out on a scrap of paper!
