I have a couple of recommendations for you to try while in Indiana. The Little Blue river from Fredricksburg down, OR Clear creek near Bloomington where it flows through Cedar Bluffs nature preserve. Good luck.
Bout time you come to my home state.. need to travel bout 3 more hours up north and fish the tippy or the wabash.. or my creek.. the great wildcat. I've caught some trophy small jaws out of there.. top water is key
@@Letsgoexplore2468 that's awesome. I've launched there, we love Adams Mill area. Right off of Markland and Dixon in Kokomo...I've caught some nice saugeye and smallies back in there, so many nice spots along the wildcat, west of town are the better areas. I've even urban kayaked thru town and caught a TON of fish, and it's an interesting float
@@BigJ76937 we sometimes start right there at juliano's and walk west to malfalfa bridge or to 440. Yes interesting all through there indeed lol. Used to be a huge hobo camp of by future park in Kokomo. Was kayaking down and noticed some man made stairs going up to what looked like a camp. Well huge hobo camp. Was a big story last year here in town. Nice folks but sure did trash the area right there. City stepped in for once and got it all cleaned!!. Cool we know the same area..
It seems like every time I go to a creek in my home state of Arkansas the bank is so overgrown you can't even fish it, I'm currently boat-less too. It's hard out here, lol.
Come on , your hook set was on camera, you jerked that rod like a pro bass tournament, and line broke. Cool to see an indiana fishing video, lived here all my life.
There's a hidden gem up in my neck of the woods called the st.josephs river great fishing for smallmouth catfish Carp walleyes and trout including steelheads and coho salmon
Ouch! Great collaboration video John and Hoosierback! Love both of your channels and fishing adventures. Nice variety of fish in the creek! Love those smallies in the creek! Blessings! 🎣👊🏼
I've cought alot of big smallies in Illinois creeks. Z-man being my favorite baits. Especially the turbo crawz. In molten and Redbone color. Put a lil bit of pro cure super gel in craw sent on it and dynamite!
Great video! Yesterday I found a hellgramite under some rocks, I had no idea we had them in missouri. I knew what it was from your videos. Keep on fishing!
im up around salamonie and missinewa area love to start learning bass fishing. just got a monster cat yesterday but looking for more a challenge than sitting a pole out with dip or cut bait.
Nice vid man! Glad to see you and Hoosier back get together! Hook in the finger and break off from a gar... heck of a way to start a fishing trip! Tight lines man🎣
Fall Creek in downtown Indianapolis has multiple 2 pounders in it. Definitely worth the trip, or big blue river in Edinburgh. My PB smallie at 2.56 was from there on a white zoom fluke. Love the content 👌
If you’re ever in the Hoosier state, I can take you to some killer creek smallie spots. Have pictures of the catches on my Instagram. Picture worthy creek bass for me and fishing buddies in these spots is 15 inches up, but 20+ inchers can be caught. Some true footballs and they fight like hell in skinny water. It’s truly a blast.
Great looking creek, love Hoosier bass too...wait I love catching any bass. See you when you make your way a little further north brother. IL welcomes you too. Make sure you stop by the Bass Pro Shop in Clarksville IN. Very nice stoor with the 2 story stream running down inside.
What creek or river system were you on? Have family in the great state of Indiana,Rush County. But the best place that i know is in Frankfort Ky. Elkhorn Creek. From finger tip to elbow, but you need live minnows or creek chubs.Safe travels n good fishin.God Bless America and everyone out there.
I fish there quite a bit during the summer, that bridge looks all too familiar. Caught a bunch of 15-16" smallies there, better fishing from a yak but it's definitely a fun wade downstream.
good to see you get some road warrior miles in - sometimes you have to get out of the hood - hooking up with other people to fish with is great - you all did find the honeyhole there - super nice creek but i think you have to go a bit bigger and think rapids - maybe put a skid plate or two on the jon boat get a 12' - small enough to get in anywhere - maybe you even want a 10' ? 12 would probably be ideal or get both - shop around and be cheap you may find them for 200 bucks or something? maybe i am too optimistic - would be easier to float through rapids than the kayak - you can spread out on the job boat and relax not cramped up - room for tackle/ice/mt dew sometimes the big hype places are sort of hype - you are as liable to get giant smallies in any number of other systems nearby - consider chumming for carp catching a couple 20/30 lb fish on 6 lb #river grading for smallmouths - how many rapids are there - the more the better #one touch anchor drop #car topper #confluence #feeding frenzy
What brand and color is the swimbait you are using in this video? Also, what weight was your jighead. Thanks in advance and I look forward to some more Indiana videos.
Another quality presentation by Creek Fishing Adventures....I would really like to meet the one person that put thumbs down.. I don't reckon I can figure out why anybody would do that on purpose...thanks John. God bless
Welcome to the Hoosier state. Hit me up if you want to go after some bowfin or gar. I know a place right outside of Okland that is full of them and you normally have to walk to them.
I cant wait to catch my first bass of 2020 on Sunday! I haven’t caught one yet and I don’t know why. I’ve been catching catfish and other bottom feeders.
The reason I like this channel so much is everyone has the opportunity to do what he is doing. Nothing fancy just enjoying the great outdoors God has created! Keep it up 🙏

Indiana Fishing it’s hardest I’m in central Indy. My pb largie is 3.5 and my pb smallie is 4.11
Wildcat has some amazing smallie fishing, and some areas with nice size goggle eye and WALLEYE. (West of Kokomo) Burlington area, Adams Mill
@@BigJ76937 love that area!! We normally set in if we canoe at 440 bridge west of town and float down to Adams Mill!! Nice half day float

Finally came across your first Indiana fishing video!!!!! Fun watching you slay em up here!
You should try the 3 or 4 inch super flukes! They imitate dying shiners or chubs really well.
