Honestly if BGS took Skyrim to UE5 and made the world feel actually alive and immersive, I would 100% buy it again. After recent goings-on with them, if they took some time and went back and worked on things left unfinished for a game that already has a massive following like Skyrim, I would wholeheartedly support them.
No one wants a re-re-release, skyrims way past it’s shelf life and with mods looks better than on ue5. Oblivion is the only game needing a remake, but I’d still rather focus everything on not shitting the bed on es6
they need skyrim on unreal bc the current engine is just counter intuitive
Nawh, it would just make it look samey also creation engine while janky is what allows all the modding and personally I'll take the modding.
@@lufuoenaengines don't fix lazy devs, have you seen what mod list authors can do. The engine isn't the issue.
@@Raven.Bloodrot maybe the devs are lazy because they hate the engine. I've never tried making mods but it seems like the modders genuinely have an interest in the problem solving involved with the creation engine while the actual developers in the studio probably arent even all in house and even the in house devs prolly flipping hate the engine. Bethseda doesn't want to hire modders to make the base games goated so a change in engine feels like what the lazy people need.
It frustrates me so many people have not finished this video nor do they understand what this means. UE5 will likely give you more value on your GPU and CPU in regards to performance. The creation engine is old and great but the developers are more focused on the game and the engine. UE5 developes a game engine for thousands of MODERN games. Skyrim is over decade old. UE5 will yield way better performance with much high fidelity with better textures, models, and mods
its still going to be using creation engine under the hood, ue5 is only used to overhaul its looks and animations.
Nah. I like the vanilla look of Skyrim. Don't like how unreal looks. I only like it for certain games.
Wooo yeah my space heater is going to get a upgrade and better output
Oblivion needs better character models and animations if it's remastered. In terms of visuals those aspects are the worst part of Oblivion. Even attacks feel awful in third person.
I wonder how easy it would be to repackage mods to work in UR. You can get Bethesda games to look pretty impressive but you really are very limited in some respect.
supposedly this is how the oblivion remake will be rendered, what a coincidence.
This is offtopic but still something I want to bring up: Would you consider making another japanese AI translated video explaining exactly what needs to happen with ER PVP for it to be in a good state, as you did pre-DLC?
Get this guy a job at Bethesda so that at least they have some framework for the ES7
Oh, no, why UE5? UE5 is not a good engine (yet). UE4 or Unity would have been way better. Especially Unity, due to the ease of modding. Just look at how popular Daggerfall became after the Unity port came out.
That's awesome, thanks JeeNiNe.
Is it possible to port the entire game to UE5? I really have no idea if it's possible, but the community is capable of anything.
Its obviously possible. The question is, who is crazy enough to do it.
I hope it UE 5.4 or newer. Cus 5.0/5.1/5.2 all kinda ran horrible. I Wish Bethesda would drop old crappy creation game engine. Its so old it’s don’t even support proper ssd, we know this Cus Starfield has all loading screens or devs don’t know how code for Nvme ssd for console and PCs todays. It is Proof game engine needs be retired. Creation game engine is base off Xbox 360 tech. And even today still hasn’t gotten proper next gen upgrade.
Yes love oblivion/Skyrim and fallout 3 and 4. The UI/menus in Skyrim are horrible compared oblivion ui and menus or even fallout 4 menus.
It’s so old and needs to die.
no thanks, UE5 is a shit 🚮
Sorry I'm not a fan of UE 5
It isn't that impressive.
looks awful, no thanks.
No it didn't. UE5 sucks.
Lots of people in here whining about this as if they'll be forced to play Skyrim on UE5 or something.
😂 on the day of Christmas too
