Tresh himself needed to leave the lane early to follow you around the map and even wasted some gold on his mobility boots for that. so it was basically mostly a 1V1 on botlane, and Ezreal has no wave clear at all. This is the best League channel on UA-cam and nothing else comes close in my opinion. Love seeing these uploads brother, keep it up. The enemy support's decision tree when encountering playing against you is interesting to discuss. This is just my opinion, but to me the twin systemic reasons why this strategy works (and not just works, I would say but is actually just flat out *strong*) are how overly rewarded in terms of both experience and gold junglers are via the jungle item for just farming, AND how over the years they've slashed the amount of net experience that is attained when it is shared in a duo lane. The obvious option the enemy support has when playing against you is to stay in lane and desperately try to press your lone ADC hard enough that they are forced off the tower thus denying them the especially valuable experience, or kill your ADC outright in a 2/3-vs-1 dive with the assistance of the enemy team's jungler. That's clearly their best case scenario. But the thing is, depending on the champions involved, and respectful play from your ADC, and the knowledge that the enemy jungler is probably off being harassed and denied camps somewhere else on the map, it sometimes isn't possible to force the ADC off the tower. And as long as they are sitting in lane and not meaningfully whittling down your ADC, they are essentially just leeching exp from their ally, and not achieving anything more than maybe some added plate damage (an effort which is also systemically impeded through the turret fortification buffs in presence of multiple members). So they decide to go roaming, but as you pointed out, the jungle item is much more effective at providing gold and experience than the support items are when not in lane. So it's essentially a lose-lose situation for them. It quite literally comes down to, if they can force your ADC off the experience, they're in a good spot. But if they can't, their game becomes incredibly hard, and leads to them desperately going off trying to stem some of the bleeding you're causing in other lanes. It's like some sort of a prisoner's dilemma, where taking the support item as a support is the 'cooperate' option, and taking the jungle item as a support is the 'betraying' option. You're not agreeing to handshake playing the standard support game just sitting in bot lane soaking experience from your partner, you're opting to just leave and spend your time elsewhere, and to abuse the broken jungle items for your own experience and gold. The only 'counterplay' for the support is to rewind time, take smite, and buy the jungle item himself so that he can be on an even playing field with you in the chaos game. I think it will be really interesting to see how this develops.
It’s also hard to pull off 1v3 dive because our junglers are usually split across the map. If I’m on one side taking camps, he’s on the other. We also place deep vision and we can easily predict enemy jg pathing by which camps we have yet to clear. We most of the time know the dive is coming and can counter it easily.
What's so great about this imo, is that it brings more fun into the game. After years, I long for something new, so I obviously moved on to different games. I'm glad League seems to be changing bit by bit. Pushing new risky strategies can help keep a game fresh.
Ever since I saw you first use this strategy, its reminded me a lot of the taric support with unsealed spellbook and smite strategy. Though that usually focuses more on hard-leashing your own jungle to get them ahead faster.
The graft at the end is interesting because it either means Lee Sin was getting gold from side lanes to keep up stifling us ally’s, the support Scion strat takes too much gold away from ally Jungler which is unlikely since you’re both taking enemy camps, or Lee Sin had the bulk of the enemy teams shutdown/kills allowing him to keep up.
I think you shouldn't really be comparing nunu gold to lee sin gold, rather you should be comparing nunu + sion to lee sin + thresh because any other champion getting heavily involved in the jungle will reduce the overall gold available in there, what matters more is whether the strategy nets more gold overall which it seems to do.
@@OldSwampothe start isn’t specifically to net more gold but to have more map pressure and make the enemy jg unable to play as easily allowing for a more chaotic game that you can’t plan ahead as much aswell as your team having more map pressure

like the Idea of pushing teamfight like that, I play Sion mid alot and I like to limit test to a point that once the enemy take to long to kill me I just keep speed clear wave to get to invade jungle, objective fights and even ulting into another lane to force some action. At some point i get so tanky that i can just get the whole team to brute force into nexus. It's not even a rushing to win at 20 minutes situation. I still get to brute force siege into winning at 50 minutes if my team is losing hard.
I used to do same thing with my sp having smite as well. It's very effective dude. Just be careful on ur maps roaming. Proven anf tested. The enemy literally annoyed when their jg check his camp and see nothing in their. Cause i got their red ir blue😅
Hopefully your midlaner realizes the 2v1 jungle and rotates often, the support should stay in lane and punish/zone the solo adc to shut them out of farm.

7:42 nice
what are the games like when it turns out to be a loss? what are the common reasons for losing even with these advantages? How likely is it for your bot to just run it down or get steamrolled over? I'm just curious

Love the strategy, but is this strat only viable at sion or is there any other champ with at least a decent comparable strat?
River shen used to be a thing, don’t know if it still works, works very differently though
I feel that this is a healthy change to the game. I feel that 2 jungler is better than 2 supports. It makes the game sooo much fun!
For real. It's an improvement for everyone, supports keep their agency while adcs get to sit in their lane and get gold/exp without worrying about their luxxx support farming their minions
"Healthy change" not at all lmfao
question for Tilt do you think sion is the only one capable of doing duo jungle
If this strat becomes more popular Riot will be 100% nerfing it to the ground, like they did with funneling and Top laners with support items
I don't think it will ever be as famous as those two, you need to be really good at doing it for it to work, it's not just a easy concept to pick up , but i sure hope that riot atleast allows it once or twice in a pro game before shooting it in the back
no its not about being as good, its the fact that every noob in solo Q is gonna try this out and troll games and alot of people will be mad@@dhanriel4519
Massive fan of this type of thing, finding new and interesting ways to shake up the gameplay formula, i just wish this kind of experimentation and strategy forming was encouraged from the beginning instead of squashed
Tilterella really is on another level, fuck me these vids are so entertaining
That is damn impressive to reach challanger with such a playstyle, love those vids. Only thing thing I'm kinda suprised about is that enemy botlanes are not zoning and diving your adc lvl 2
That's why seraphine is being played. Can't dive if the wave gets nuked by a double q from range. Also she hits level 2 first because of solo xp
but what about other solo Q games u cant get a seraphine every game@@ironboy3245
Not sure anyone has asked this, but do you think a potential way to counter it would be to move the adc and support into the midlane?
I both hate and love you. We're probably going to be seeing more of this soon in our games, and of course I'll be one of those :)
this strat would be funny to watch against smite support ivern. the chaos!!
man it'd be awesome to have dantes try this in Korea while he's there or any other jungler in Korea rn
Love the of-meta gameplay, keep up the good work!!
like the Idea of pushing teamfight like that, I play Sion mid alot and I like to limit test to a point that once the enemy take to long to kill me I just keep speed clear wave to get to invade jungle, objective fights and even ulting into another lane to force some action. At some point i get so tanky that i can just get the whole team to brute force into nexus. It's not even a rushing to win at 20 minutes situation. I still get to brute force siege into winning at 50 minutes if my team is losing hard.
another sion main who make a amazing strats hopefully riot won't nerf this like the previous one 👀
I used to do same thing with my sp having smite as well. It's very effective dude. Just be careful on ur maps roaming. Proven anf tested. The enemy literally annoyed when their jg check his camp and see nothing in their. Cause i got their red ir blue😅
One thing I'm curious of though, will you make a video on possible counterplays for this?
What are some of the weaknesses of this strat? How would you counter it if you happened to run into it?
Hopefully your midlaner realizes the 2v1 jungle and rotates often, the support should stay in lane and punish/zone the solo adc to shut them out of farm.
NuNu was the secret carry
The teamwork was insane
any other champs this could be good on? i think kled would work well or some other champ with high base stats
my God I love this playstyle but it's so weird watching Sion gameplay without a Baus Special in the end
calls you a spazz, as he spazzes
How vital is sion to this strat? Could other junglers do this? Was thinking ivern
Jungle main here
As someone who has played against this strategy twice, just know that if I found the culprits for this strategy in person, I would Mike Tyson their asses
is that HAWKA doing the VO work?
If I was playing support and saw enemy support lock in sion, I’d run smite with unsealed spellbook and try to at least make jungle camps a 50/50 every time. Unsealed spellbook as insurance just in case they’re not doing cheese strat (and because it’s the best rune in the game 😈)
oh a new role introduced to league, the counter-jungler
This would be a nightmare to play against. Specially as a jungler, I would be tilted out of this planet.
Congratulations, amazing stuff, fk the meta
this is the kinda innovation i love to see so much. literally just invented a new position in the game by replacing supp with a second jg.
Nice Command & Conquer Red Alert background music there.
The reactions are gold.
I feel bad because the thresh is actually a good player and is working so hard!
