there's a letter you can find from the dark urge pre-tadpole to orin (can't remember what it's called) that has exactly the same phrasing as some of the things sarevok says here and i wonder if the phrasing is due to these things being part of the current bhaalist dogma or if he's quoting the dark urge directly without their realizing. both would track given he's obviously manipulating the dark urge to some extent. makes me wonder if orin usurping the dark urge was equally as much due to a difference of opinion about the dogma as personal jealousy on her part
ill be honest, why are any of them here besides sarevok? illasera was a disgrace, and got butchered like a sheep, amelyssan was a traitor, and sendai?! i dont even know if she ever killed anybody outside of her usual drow conduct
Sendai was like... the ONLY one out of that who was genuinely wanting to bring Bhaal back. Illasera was, like you said, hilariously easy to drop kick. And Amelyssan honestly shouldn't even exist, if I recall the end of Throne of Bhaal correctly. But then, Jaheria shouldn't be a High Harper and Viconia shouldn't be the Mother Superior of Shar. They kind of dropped the ball with the OGs, tbh. They should have at least picked A canonical ending for them, rather than just make up a new one wholesale that isn't terribly satisfying either way.
They're actually all here as punishment for their failures in the previous games. Sarevok I think is the only 'living' one here, the rest are just husks. If you kill Orin before meeting Sarevok he explains that to you and says that killing you will put him back in Bhaal's good graces.
@@carter5323 ive read in other places that amelyssan was here as punishment and it got me thinking that dark urge is the original games mc,because they became the most powerful bhaalspawn but betrayed him, so bhaal removed their memories and gave them a different shape so they would serve him
@@Infernalicon That theory actually fills in some gaps with the lore and makes a good deal of sense. Gorion’s Ward would be the final bhaalspawn, be transformed into the Slayer, and be defeated in 1482, the game taking place in 1492. Thats only a ten year difference where I highly doubt a Bhaalspawn could be born and commit the high levels of crimes Durge did before being betrayed. But if Durge was created using Gorion’s soul which Bhaal would definitely have access to, and be placed back into a smaller weaker form of the Slayer (like the white dragonborn), that would give him ten whole years as Bhaal’s chosen and also set up the events of BG3. Durge/Gorion’s Ward finally having his soul purified by Withers and being fully free of Bhaal would bring the end to nearly 25 years of the Bhaalspawn Saga, in a way that doesnt end tragically.
Seeing Sarevok and his court panic when you transformed was priceless
I went with a good playthrough, but DAMN was I tempted to kill the elephant. I fucking hate it.

Damn, you got some drip. What is the robe you're wearing?
I wonder what happens when you go back after killing her like he asked? And what she did to wrong him ?
Didn't really wrong him much, bhaalists are just utter cunts and love killing each others. Just animals practically.
He will say that you are a disappointment and will try to kill you. If you rejected Bhaal.
@@dontworry198 aw damn
He'll try to kill you claiming that you made the path to Bhaal's chosen easier.
@@Judge_Artyom oh epic. Thanks!
You skipped the best companion's dialogue... Lae'zel. And Minthara.
This VA is good but I miss hearing Kevin Michael Richardson as Sarevok
I don't care what the companions say, bathing in blood is soo cool😅❤
why do that when you can kill sarevok and EVERYTHING i that chamber and still get the amulet and more! >:D

Yeah, I skipped all of this Murder Tribunal stuff by casting Knock on the Bhaalist sewer door. 😅 Kinda wish I hadn't, but I was sick of Orin's shit.

You can actually lean that Amelyssan's presence here is actually a punishment. Eternal slavery.

How did you get these dialog options? I can’t get him to mention killing Orin
It should happen if you're playing as the Dark Urge
that thing kinda sucks
Nerfed too hard imo
Why?
