That’s a good idea, I work construction in Manhattan and I could take my daily tools and clip my hardhat to the bag no problem!!
Thing with those bags after a while the sun really beat down on the military straps on the top and really like completely came off over time

Yes, doing it again I would either swap out to pan headed bolts or countersink the spacers and run a flat head socket bolts but

Whats your suspension setup? The bike sits just right.
I had a set of progressive 777 and lift blocks. Actually going to change it up when the bike is redone so the setup is for sale.

Is that an upsweep exhaust? any issues with that?
I bought a random 2-1 found out it was for an Fxr so it had too much down sweep and had a muffler modified to add up sweep for clearance
But I didn’t have any issues with the bags and pipe together
